THE Buhari Media Support Group (BMSG) whatever that is yesterday commended Igbo leaders and South East governors for agreeing on the option of dialogue to resolve the grievances of pro-Biafra protesters.

The two sets of leaders has held separate meetings in Enugu where they agreed that dialogue would be explored between the Federal Government and the Movement for the Emancipation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) on the one hand and the Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on the other. Kanu is still under detention for crying out loud.
BMSG notes that the Pro-Biafra agitators had crippled economic activities in some parts of South East and South-South zones, while protesting the detention of the IPOB leader and alleged marginalisation of Ndigbo.

According to the BMSG, “President Muhammadu Buhari had been in power for only six months and could not be held responsible for the neglect of the zone over the last 16 years of the PDP administration.

“BMSG recalls the words of the late British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, that: ‘It is better to jaw-jaw than to war-war”, adding that it is expected that the agitators would utilise these windows of dialogue being facilitated by the South-East zone leaders to formally table their grievances before the Federal Government.

“We urge all Igbos to have faith in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, who has pledged his commitment to be just to all sections of the country when he said, ‘I belong to nobody, and I belong to everybody.’

The group calls on the Ndigbo “to continue to explore avenues for peaceful solutions to the grievances of your region, as it is only through peace that the much-sought after infrastructure and social development can be realised.”

#ISIS claims responsibility for #Tunisia Suicide Attack #HNNTerror

Reuters reports: Tunisian authorities said on Wednesday a suicide bomber wearing a vest packed with plastic explosive blew up a presidential guard bus a day earlier, killing at least 12 troops in an attack claimed by Islamic State militants.

Tuesday's explosion on a main boulevard in the capital drove home the vulnerability of Tunisia to Islamist militancy, following assaults on a seaside tourist hotel in June and the Bardo Museum in Tunis in March also claimed by Islamic State.

One of the Arab world's most secular nations, Tunisia has increasingly become a target for militants after being hailed as a beacon of democratic change in the region since its 2011 uprising ousted autocrat Zine Abidine Ben Ali.

"This attack is an evolution in the behaviour of the terrorists, this time they attacked a symbol of the state and in the heart of the capital," Prime Minister Habib Essid told reporters after an emergency security meeting.

It was the first suicide bombing in the capital. In October 2013 a bomber blew himself up on a beach in Sousse, and previously an al Qaeda suicide bomber attacked the synagogue in Djerba, killing 21 people.

Islamic State, whose insurgents control large parts of Iraq and Syria and are also active in Libya to Tunisia's east, claimed responsibility on Wednesday for the Tunis attack, according to an official statement.

Eagles of Death Metal speak about #Parisattacks in sit-down interview #HNNMusic #HNNTerror

The band name on that Friday the 13th just creeps me out but Eagles of Death metal band who posted a picture of the concert audience on instagram before gunmen busted in now speaks about the ordeal.

The interview is with the band's lead singer Jesse Hughes and co-founder Joshua Homme.

"Several people hid in our dressing room, and the killers were able to get in and killed every one of them except for a kid who was hiding under my leather jacket," Hughes describes in the snippet posted to Facebook and YouTube.

"People were playing dead, and they were so scared," he goes on to say. "A great reason why so many were killed is because so many people wouldn’t leave their friends. And so many people put themselves in front of people."

While Hughes and the band survived the attack, the band's merchandise manager, Nick Alexander, as well as associates from their record label, Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser, and Manu Perez, did not.

A total of 89 people were killed at the concert.

Homme, who was not with the band in Paris, is raising money to aid victims of the Paris attack through his charity The Sweet Stuff Foundation.

The interview trailer posted on VICE's Facebook page has received some criticism for "teasing" the interview rather than immediately posting the whole video in its entirety.

A fire has broken out high up in the John Hancock Center, one of Chicago’s tallest skyscrapers.

The Fire Department’s media office tweeted that one person was injured, adding in an update that the fire was out.

Flames and thick smoke poured out of a window on the 50th floor Saturday. Chicago police say they were getting calls reporting the blaze from people inside the building. It has offices, shops and residential units, along with an observation floor popular with tourists.

A Fire Department spokesman could not immediately be reached to provide more details.

The iconic 99-floor building was completed in 1970. The Associated Press reported this.

McLean has toured with the CBC radio show since 1998, according to the show’s website.

OpParisIntel, the Anonymous campaign against the Islamic State online, released a statement Saturday saying it had uncovered information regarding new terror plots “on Paris and the world” scheduled for Sunday Nov. 22.

The group also warned the Islamic State may be planning an attack at the WWE Survivor Series event set to take place in the Philips Area in Atlanta on Sunday night.

FAKE Northern #Nigerian Youth now asking the feds to listen to Pro #Biafra protesters #MadamKOOBiafra

A group of Northern youths under the aegis of North-East Youths Peace Development Initiative, NEYPDI, yesterday urged President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government to dialogue with those agitating for Biafra, instead of applying force against them. The group also dissociates itself from the call for the Igbos in the north to vacate the area.

The National President, NEYPDI, Alhaji Kyari Idris Abubakar, in a statement said: “Like those of us who have been suffering from insurgency in the past years we would not hesitate to go against anything that would lead to violence in the country. FG should dialogue with the agitators and not force, as it is not the best approach in handling the matter.”

Abubakar expressed regret over the recent call for Igbos to move out of the north, adding that it was capable of generating tensions and possibly lead to violence. “I want to remind the group that we have northerners in the south-east and other parts of the country and if the threat is carried out, they would also be asked to move back to the north, the development that negates the principle of peaceful co-existence as a nation,” he said.

These Northern youth are twisted. At the beginning of this revolution, they all ignored the Eastern youth and just LAST WEEK ASKING THE FEDS TO CRUSH the protesters. Keep watching.

Radical #Yoruba group OPC launches Online Radio and Magazine. Is the NBC listening? #HNNMedia

OPC is regarded as a terrorist group by some in the Yoruba race. However they use a lot of violent thugs in their operations. Their leader Otunba Gani Adams has announced that an online radio station and magazine will be launched. Adams who said the launch took place in London earlier in the week, explained that the media will serve to project, enhance and showcase the Yoruba cultural heritage and tradition of the Yoruba to the world at large. I wonder if the FEDS will be watching that station and the broadcast. I guarantee it may get tribal. Yorubas are big tribalists.

He said that there was an urgent need to resuscitate the Yoruba culture and tradition which he regretted were going extinct. Adams said the radio station would propagate the cultural beliefs of the Yoruba through what he described as effective communication channels.

According to him, “establishing the Oodua Radio and Magazine is a deliberate attempt to showcase Yoruba culture and ethics globally. In his address, Tourism Editor of Tribune newspapers, Gabriel Akinadewo, urged Nigerians especially the Yoruba to be culture ambassadors within and outside the country.

“We must all support the Federal Government by projecting the image and protecting the name of Nigeria for the change mantra to work and Oodua Radio is a platform for everybody living in London to do this,” he said.

A British Colombia man is getting ready to go back to his home country of Ghana where he will be crowned king of a 6,000 person tribe in the south of the country.

Eric Manu, 32, has been living in B.C. for three years after marrying a Canadian woman he met in Ghana. The couple now have a 10-month-old son.

Manu’s uncle was previously the king of the Akan tribe, but he died in 2013. This July, Manu received a phone call telling him he had been chosen as his uncle’s replacement.

“I wasn’t really thinking that it was going to be me because I’m too young for that,” said Manu. However, the community of chiefs and other officials decided Manu was the best person for the job.

Manu is still working as a landscaper in White Rock, but now plans to go to Ghana to become king and improve the lives of his tribe members. He also hopes to split his time between Ghana and Canada.

“I’ve learnt a lot about Canada and I really want to transform the life that Canada changed me to the people of Ghana,” said Manu.

His wife will become queen, but traditionally the Akan tribe has a queen mother for the whole village.

“But the wife of a chief, she also becomes a queen of the king, of the chief,” said Manu. “So she becomes the mother of all mothers of the village.”

‘Imminent threat of attack’: Brussels closes metro as capital on high alert #HNNTerror

The Belgian capital, Brussels, is facing a “serious and imminent” threat of a terrorist attack, with a government official warning the public to avoid crowds, while the metro has been closed. Brussels has raised its alert status to the highest possible level.

Brussels security forces are looking for at least two men, one of who might be carrying a bomb of the same type used in Paris attacks on November 13, Belgian Le Soir reported.

"The advice for the population is to avoid places where a lot of people come together, like shopping centers, concerts, events or public transport stations wherever possible," a spokesman for the government's crisis center said, Reuters reported.

The recommendation came after the government increased its threat scale to “level four” following a meeting of ministers, police and the security services.

Syrian journalist killed while covering army operations against Islamic State #HNNTerror

A Syrian journalist was killed Saturday while covering the army’s operations against Islamic State militants in the country’s central region, Syria’s official news agency said, the latest of dozens of journalists killed while covering the brutal conflict.

Wasim al-Nuqari, a 38-year-old war reporter, was killed in the eastern countryside of Homs province, SANA said. Al-Nuqari worked at Syrian TV for many years and had recently been working as a war reporter for the armed forces.

Air France plane evacuated at Manchester Airport #HNNTerror

PASSENGERS were evacuated from a plane by police at Manchester Airport this afternoon after a "potentially suspicious item" was found on board.

The Air France jet, which flew in from Paris, was met by emergency services on the runway moments after landing.

One passenger said on Facebook: "On board AF1068 and blocked on runway after arrival in Manchester for security reasons. Someone left an iPad on the LHR-CDG flight and they only realised once we were airborne?"

In a statement, Greater Manchester Police confirmed reports that an "electronic item" was seized by officers.

The statement said: "Shortly before 1.30pm on Saturday 21 November 2015, police received a report of a potentially suspicious item on a flight from Paris due to land at Manchester Airport.

"The aircraft landed a short time later, where it was met by emergency services and airport staff and passengers safely disembarked from the flight.

"The electronic item in question has been seized by officers and has now been safely security checked. Officers are now working to establish the identity of its owner.

“I want to condemn this new attack terrorist terror strategy, these hate attacks against freedom, against the rule of law, against peace, against stability, this scourge and this constant threat that plagues the world,” Jean said in a translated statement about the attack, which occurred one week after the deadly ISIS attacks in Paris and Beirut.

Three senior Chinese executives were killed in the Mali hotel siege, state-owned China Railway Construction Corp has confirmed. The victims were identified as the general manager for the corporation’s international group, Zhou Tianxiang; a deputy general manager of the international group, Wang Xuanshang; and the general manager of the group’s West Africa division, Chang Xuehui.

The announcement came after China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that three Chinese nationals were killed during Friday’s attack in Mali. Four other Chinese nationals were rescued from the hostage situation. China has condemned the attack in the strongest terms.

#Nigerian Billionaire Businessman @AlikoDangote almost caught up in #MaliAttack hotel #HNNTerror

Aliko Dangote is the richest businessman in Africa and of course a Nigerian. He travels a lot on business within Africa in a matter of days and a rumour went around that he was in that Mali Radisson Blu hotel on Friday November 20th. Thank God he was in Mali the day before. It is unimaginable how some people escape death these days. Below is the tweet he sent out.
