EMINEM 'SCRAPS' SONGS FOR NEW ALBUM....MOM'S BOOK FROM HELL COMING OUT.

Rapper EMINEM has scrapped the majority of material for his comeback album because it's not "current" enough. The Without Me hitmaker has been working on tracks for his follow up to 2004's Encore since last year (07), but his pal 50 Cent reveals the star has chosen to start from scratch to ensure his album is as new and relevant as possible. He says, "A lot of material he wrote prior to this announcement (of the new album) is being scrapped.

"He's got to feel like it's just happened, it's new and it's current. That's just how he is creatively as an artist." But the In Da Club rapper insists fans of Eminem won't have long to wait to hear the final results, although a release date has yet to be set. 50 Cent adds, "You'll be seeing him shortly. He's working. I spent the weekend at his house. Even though he tries to relax and stay home it's impossible for him to stay in." Listen to him spoofing Katy Perry's song...."I kissed a boy and I liked it."

Ne-Yo visited Toronto's hip-hop station Flow 93.5FM this morning.

Ne-Yo was on Flow 93.5Fm this morning at 9.48am and
talked about how he criticized Lindsay Lohan's album and really wants to apologize to her personally as he is still trying to reach her people. He talked about his relationship with Hayden Panetierre and stated they only did a charity thing for two days and they went to eat after and the paparazzi snapped them stating that they were dating for 7 years. He talked about Prince coming to his Grammy party and he was starstruck.

The forthcoming album is coming August 5th 2008 and it's titled "Year of the Gentleman." He stated his mind on that boredom with urban music piece I reported and he said..."I'm black! I will always be in URBAN MUSIC." He looks up to Kanye West and he introduced his single "Closer" and thanked JJ and Melanie for waiting on him. He was stuck in traffic and was 35 minutes late! For those of you fans that waited on him too at the office, you can listen to it now on my audio YouTube. He performs with Alicia Keys tonight at the ACC here in Toronto. Great job JJ and Melanie of Flow 93.5FM!

Kanye West, 50 Cent, T.I. React To Their Placement On 'Hottest MCs In The Game.'

Kanye West waited a long time to react to being crowned the "Hottest MC in the Game" by the MTV News Hip-Hop Brain Trust earlier this month — but he made sure it counted. 'Ye shared his feelings with the crowd at the sold-out Chicago show of his Glow in the Dark Tour. T.I. says he doesn't take #10 spot personally, while #6 50 Cent says MTV News should have MCs making the list. Read more at MTV's website. Look at T.I's tough face in that picture. I told him not to smile!

The Game Predicts Next G-Unit Dropout, Discusses Suge Knight Knockout!

I have this juicy interview that NYC's HOT 97FM personality Funkmaster Flex did with The Game! He claimed 50 LIED about getting his chain back in Angola. He also talked about that kid that beat up Suge Knight the other day! Miss Info at Hot 97FM in NYC has it all on her site. I like this rapper for all I care!

First, he discussed Young Buck's current situation, who he said he had predicted would leave G-Unit previously ... and makes his prediction of who is next as well.

"I've been telling you Buck's the next to go for like four years, three years," Game said. "After that, it's Banks, but I don't think that Yayo will ever break they thing 'cause they got they real boo lovin' thing down. Banks is gonna be next man."

According to the Compton rapper, the reason why 50 is losing soldiers is because he is reluctant to let his artists spread their wings, which he says will ultimately result in his downfall.
"50 needs to change his ways man. Until then, you gonna see his empire dismantle itself," explained The Game. "It's like a totem pole man. Dre worked with Pac, then he found Snoop. ... Dre found Snoop, and let Snoop blow up. Look at Snoop today, Dre never stopped Snoop from blowing up. Dre had helped Snoop, and it was in good business. Then Dre found a white boy from Detroit, and he came in... Dre gave Eminem the chance to blow and they never stopped. Then they gave it to 50, and let him blow. 50 didn't pass the baton like that man. ... [50 Cent] wanted everybody to be soldiers forever, forever, forever, forever... and grow old ... That will never hold up."

Later on during the interview, Flex asked the rapper about the recent media blitz about Suge Knight being knocked out. While he admitted that he and the Death Row Records founder are on good terms, he said he's looking to sign the kid who knocked him out.

"He's the Knockout Kid, TMZ gave him a name. We was looking for him, we found him, and trying to sign him," said The Game on the air. "I just think you win some, you lose some ... [Suge's] not a boxer. It's not like he's Muhammad Ali, and he's been in the game and somebody finally beats you."

While the industry has labeled the knockout a blow to Knight's tough guy reputation, The Game said it's no big deal, and admitted that one day a Knockout Kid might even knock him out if he doesn't respect the new kids coming up in the game.

"Suge, back in the day, he had it locked in LA. But now, your time comes and goes, and you have to respect the new breed, and now that's me. I got L.A. locked, and 10 years later, there will be a new dude. 10 years from now, when I 40, there's gonna be a new kid and I gotta respect that dude. Hopefully, the Knockout Kid's little brother don't hit me or something ... or step to me. I don't want no problems with the Knockout Kid.

The Game breaks down during interview revealing he was suicidal!

In an interview for the cover of XXL's June issue, the Compton rapper revealed that he's not very happy right now, and isn't sure if he can continue making music, which would explain why he's said this upcoming album, Los Angeles Times (LAX), may be his last. That album will be out in June.

Media Hating? Listen to my 2006 interview with Busta Rhymes in Nigeria.

I received an audio from my beloved pals at World Star hip-hop that Busta Rhymes blasted and lashed out at the media at his album listening party. Busta is not one to do that. Could some bad eggs have provoked him? This whole big thing about the media coming to ALP's sucks. Album listening parties are specifically for the media that covers the genre. I heard there were newspaper and radio folks from pop/rock stations in there from a snitch. The snitch also told me that one reporter specifically compared bust's music to a rock star. That's probably why he bust out mad! Funny he was wearing that same t-shirt when I interviewed him almost 2 years ago. Listen to that audio above then listen to my interview below.

T.I does his first media interview since the BIG arrest.

Late Thursday afternoon Atlanta rapper-actor T.I. granted his first sit-down interview since he was arrested for, and pled guilty to, three firearms charges last month. He spoke to AJC's Sonia Murray in Atlanta.

Here are some excerpts:

Q: Professionally, what did the night of the BET Hip-Hop Awards (Oct. 13, 2007) mean for you? You were the top nominee. It was happening in your city. That should have been a great day.

A: It was sort of like a, well, you remember the [last] Super Bowl, right? You know Jeremy Shockey? He broke his leg. He had to sit up in the press box and watch. He couldn't help his team win. He couldn't play. The greatest, most talked-about, most publicized Super Bowl in our time and he's sitting watching; instead of actually being able to participate. Terrible. ... And I know, I know, I brought it on myself.

Q: Do you remember Oct. 12, 2007 — that Friday before?

A: We had a very good time. We were living life man — partying. Celebrating. Celebrating success. Being hot. Being hot, working hard. ... I was at [adult entertainment club] 24K. Then I went to Onyx [another adult entertainment club]. Then I went to [the nightclub] Velvet Room. We were at a lot of different places. We had our own little thing we were doing too — a private, members-only party. I actually rolled out of bed from there and went to [the BET] rehearsal. And never made it back.

Q: Sounds like you were having a really good time before ...

A: I was. [Smiles] I was.

What's going on with "The Clipse's" sophomore album?

If you are to believe their tales of success in the crack game, it would seem that The Clipse could use another reminder. After their debut went gold in just two months, their follow up hasn’t reached the half million mark in nearly a year and a half. Read their latest interview with Hiphop DX on happenings with them and the music game. Pusha-T, above one of the Thornton brothers was interviewed by me in 2004 in Atlanta
