Jayden James turned two on Friday (12Sep08), so Spears threw a joint part for the pair at her friend Adrienne Maloof-Nassif's house in Beverly Park, Los Angeles. Guests included singer Gwen Stefani, with her two-year-old son Kingston, and Jim Carrey's girlfriend Jenny McCarthy with her son Evan, six.
Spears' family also joined in the celebrations - sister Jamie Lynn arrived with her newborn daughter Maddie Briann, as well as dad Jamie and mother Lynne. The Toxic hitmaker treated her sons to custom-designed mini motorised cars complete with
personalised licence plates and a cake in the shape of a yellow truck.
A source told People.com, "The boys received tons of birthday gifts. Britney and her family really made the party special for the boys." Spears lost custody of her two sons to ex-husband Kevin Federline last year (07) and earlier this year (08) lost visitation rights. But her access to the boys was gradually restored over the summer (08) with the resolution of the former couple's bitter custody battle.
Good for Britney! That's the only pop star I wanna meet in this lifetime! We supported her thruout the damn ordeal. Happy Birthday to the boys. Seemed like yesterday....
