Radio host and former BET personality Free knows first-hand what it's like to be in an abusive relationship.
The fears, the embarrassment, the emotions. As a victim, she's felt them all. And she's hoping to help others Thursday night at 6 by going on a special two-hour edition of BET's "106 & Park" focusing on relationship abuse.
"I was happy they were doing something," said Free, whose given name is Marie Wright. "The timing is questionable. That's just real. But sometimes it takes different things to bring it to the forefront."
The timing, of course, comes during a daily dose of updates on Chris Brown and his alleged beating of girlfriend Rihanna. Read the rest....
