On Monday, Snoop Dogg will become the first living rapper and third MC in history to be immortalized in a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas.
The rapper/actor/entrepreneur has donated his own clothing--including a baseball jacket from his new clothing line, Rich & Infamous--to outfit his life-size likeness, which was handcrafted by sculptors in the attraction's London studios at a cost of $300,000.
Perhaps it's fitting that the unveiling of his wax statue falls on April 20, a.k.a. 4/20 – the international green light code for marijuana smokers.
God knows we'll be watching it all up here in Canada.
Thursday afternoon, Snoop sent the following tweet to his followers: "this is the deal...tell everybody you know to follow @madametussauds to win a chance to go to Vegas and party with @snoopdogg on 420!!!"
