OASIS rocker NOEL GALLAGHER blames his brother LIAM for the band's failure to crack America. The Wonderwall hitmakers were one of the biggest British bands of the 1990s and were expected to replicate their success in the States when touring their hit album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? in 1996. But singer Liam pulled out of several shows at the last minute - telling reporters he had to go house-hunting.

And guitarist Noel is still fuming that his brother blew the band's chance of becoming as big as fellow rockers U2. He says, "I still blame him for the fact that we never cracked the U.S. When we had one of the biggest selling albums in the world, and were about to begin a crucial U.S. tour, he arrived at the airport, gave some ludicrous excuse that he couldn't get on the plane, and left us stranded."

Maybe they need to do more interviews!!!!!!!!! Did I not say that in Toronto before that idiotic Jay-Z fan attack him on stage? Crack the code in my comment!

GALLAGHER'S SECURITY FEARS AFTER ATTACK !

British rock band OASIS plan to step up security after NOEL GALLAGHER was attacked on stage - but insist they will not "get like Madonna" and have a huge entourage. The guitarist was injured at a show in Toronto, Canada in September (08) when a man ran onstage and pushed him into monitor speakers. Gallagher admits the band's security arrangements need to be reviewed - but is adamant they will not employ a huge team of minders to shield them from fans. And he has laughed at those who say his brother Liam protected him during the incident - because the singer only got involved once bouncers had waded in.

Gallagher says,

"People are talking about how well Liam reacted. You can see him on the clip going to hit the guy who attacked me. But if you look carefully, you'll see he only starts to react when I'm surrounded by security guards. "The guy had been backstage where it had been raining. He hit me from behind and I fell on to the monitor. I immediately felt a sharp pain in my back where the ribs had cracked. "Then I looked down at my leg and he had left wet footprints on me. I thought it was blood. I was sh**ting myself... Next thing I know, I'm in hospital. Where were security? "Obviously now we have to rethink our security situation, but we don't want to get like Madonna and travel around with 400 people."

If Oasis dares show up in T-Dot with a 400 member entourage, that's it! I am going to watch garage bands instead!

ROCK BAND "AGAINST ME" CANCELS UTAH SHOW AFTER BUS SKIDS ON ICE!

Punk group AGAINST ME scrapped a show in Salt Lake City, Utah on Wednesday night (22Oct08) after their tour bus hit a patch of ice on the way to the venue and scattered their equipment all over the freeway. The accident happened early on Wednesday morning on the I-80 in Wyoming - en route to Salt Lake City.

A statement from the band's record label reads, "Thankfully, nobody suffered any injuries; however, the band's gear was thrown from the trailer all over the highway."

That's the best part. Nobody was hurt!

OASIS PLAN ANOTHER NORTH AMERICAN TOUR AFTER STAGE ATTACK .

OASIS are to reteam with RYAN ADAMS for another North American tour just three months after guitarist NOEL GALLAGHER was attacked onstage here in T-Dot Canada. The group scrapped the final dates of the tour to allow Gallagher to recover from injuries he sustained after falling awkwardly into monitor speakers as he tried to escape a lunging Daniel Sullivan during Oasis' 9 September (08) show in Toronto.

The group has since scrapped further shows in Europe, but plan to honour dates on an upcoming British tour next month (Oct08). But the incident hasn't put them off touring in North America - Oasis and Adams will play a series of pre-Christmas shows beginning in Oakland, California on 3 December (08). The trek will continue to 20 December (08) with dates in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Ontario and New York, where the band will perform at Madison Square Garden.

PETE DOHERTY DENIES OVERDOSE CLAIMS!

LATEST: PETE DOHERTY is adamant reports he recently suffered an overdose in Austria are untrue - because he struggled to find any drugs while in the country. The troubled Babyshambles frontman was said to have been revived by medics after collapsing from a drug overdose shortly before a gig in Graz, Austria last week. But the rocker insists the media stories are completely fabricated - because he couldn't locate any illegal substances. He tells MTV News,

"I know that was absolute rubbish. I was in Austria (but), I mean, between me and you... it would've been lovely to have enough stuff but there was nothing about. "To be honest it was a really clean week - and it was complete rubbish."

Meanwhile his forthcoming solo album is in jeopardy - because the troubled rocker can't secure the funding to record it. The Babyshambles frontman had originally planned to put out his debut solo LP this summer (08), but the 29-year-old has had to delay its release after running into financial difficulties. Obviously all the money has been spent on powder and rocks! And Doherty has had to sign up to play a string of live gigs in order to keep some money rolling in. Speaking backstage at a London gig on Friday (05Sep08), he tells MTV News,

"Unfortunately, the bailiffs (debt collectors) have been knocking quite a lot so I've got to do (shows) like, I've got to go back on in a minute and do the encore for things like this. "But that's what I'm doing really: writing and recording on my own. But I'm doing some stuff with Babyshambles as well."

'FOO FIGHTERS' GIG SPARKS CHAOS!

Rumours of a surprise FOO FIGHTERS gig at a U.K. festival last weekend (24Aug08) sparked a riot which resulted in an unprovoked attack on a upcoming band. Thousands of fans descended on a tiny stage at the Reading festival amidst reports the Foo Fighters were playing a secret show. The act appearing was billed as The FF'ers - which was assumed to be a pseudonym for Dave Grohl's band.

But it turned out to be a little known British punk band, and the 3,000 strong crowd were not impressed. The band was attacked with bottles by angry fans and had to abandon their set. The next band on, Underground Railroad, received similar treatment with fans hurling mud, bottles and shoes at them. The Parisian trio threw the missiles back into the crowd and were pulled offstage by security soon afterwards.

That was some sorry ass foo fighting up there!

STEVEN ADLER OF GUNS AND ROSES BREAKS DOWN IN DRUG COURT!

Former GUNS N' ROSES rocker STEVEN ADLER cried in court on Wednesday (20Aug08) as he pleaded not guilty to drug possession charges. The drummer was arrested last month (Jul08) after emergency services were called to a Hollywood house after a reported disturbance. He was allegedly found under the influence and with drugs on his person. After he was released on bail, the 43 year old checked in to celebrity therapist Dr Drew Pinsky's Las Encinas rehab centre in Pasadena, California, where reality TV show Celebrity Rehab is based. Adler has been ordered to remain in rehab. The rocker is still signed to star in Celebrity Rehab spin-off Sober Living.

GUNS N' ROSES drummer STEVEN ADLER arrested for drugs!

Former GUNS N' ROSES drummer STEVEN ADLER has reportedly been arrested in Hollywood for possession of narcotics and being under the influence of drugs. The rocker - who is still in police custody - also has an outstanding warrant, reports celebrity website TMZ.com. Adler, 43, has appeared on U.S. TV show Celebrity Rehab and was scheduled to appear in its spin-off Sober Living.

Page's drug charges prompt Barenaked Ladies to cancel upcoming kids show!!!

Drug possession charges against the Barenaked Ladies lead singer Steven Page have prompted the band to cancel a scheduled performance at a children's concert in New York. Following the release of their first children's album "Snacktime," the band was slated to perform at next month's Disney Music Block Party on Long Island. But in a statement posted on the band's website, manager Terry McBride said the "Ladies" chose to cancel the concert out of respect for the sponsor. More at Impaired Stars.
