DEATH SHOCKER: MTV TO KILL OFF TRL IN NOVEMBER 2008!

Not like it matters to us in Canada since we don't get that show here, I JUST HEARD MTV is set to kill-off the music video for good in November when Total Request Livecomes to an end after a 10 year run! Dave Sirulnick, executive producer of “TRL,” tells us that TRL will conclude in a two-hour special on a Saturday afternoon in November 2008.

Dave stressed that the show wasn’t ending for good, but felt now was the right time to give it a break after an unprecedented run on the cable music channel. For Canadian artists planning to make it big on TRL, better stick to MOD now. Much On Demand is Canada's TRL/106 and Park. It's just on Queen and Dundas. I watch TRL at my neighbors house on satellite every now and then on MTV USA.
