RITCHIE BARS MADONNA FROM FAST CARS

GUY RITCHIE has banned his wife MADONNA from driving sports cars - because she is "appalling" behind the wheel. The movie maker suspects the pop superstar will buy him a luxury motor for his 40th birthday later this month (Sep08) - and will want to take it for a spin herself.

But Ritchie insists that he will never let his wife take control of a high-powered vehicle - as she is a terror on the roads. He says, "If she buys a fast car, she will not be a driver in it. No way will Madonna drive a fast car! She is an appalling driver."

40th birthday? She just turned 50. I didn't know that Guy was 10 whole years younger than Madge.
