Baller Alert says Last Thursday, at Fur Nightclub in Washington D.C., Buck's first performance since the debacle, only 20 people showed. The promoters weren't hospitable, making Buck pay for his own hotel room. Talk about tough. Prior to the show, he was paid half of the money, and was to get the remainder at show time, did he get it? Of course not. Buck didn't even perform that night. He was supposed to do another show tonight, but the promoter left him with all the bills.His entourage wasn't allowed in Fur. The club said that they weren't dressed properly. Buck was the only one that could have on athletic wear. Unless his hype man or DJ paid to get in, Buck would've been a one man band. I'm sure this wouldn't have gone down like this if he were still affiliated with G-Unit, who coincidentally was also in town promoting their new album T.O.S.

Ne-Yo wrote the track Closer with Jackson in mind, and played it for his hero while they were working together on the King of Pop's comeback album. Ne-Yo recalls, "He told me that he likes the way I do Michael Jackson. I asked him what he meant by that, and he said, `When you do that, it doesn't feel like you're trying to copy me or trying to be me. It feels like you're complimenting me.' DMX ARRESTED TWICE IN A WEEK?
For the second time last week, Rapper DMX was arrested in Miami. The 37-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was arrested Friday on charges of attempting to purchase cocaine and attempting to purchase marijuana, according to a Miami-Dade Police Department arrest report. Simmons was arrested during a narcotics sting operation, according to the report.
His bail was set at $6,000, online jail records show.DMX has recently had a string of run-ins with the law. He was picked up Monday afternoon in Miami on an arrest warrant for having no valid driver’s license, and he pleaded not guilty to felony drug possession and misdemeanor animal cruelty charges last month in Arizona. A call to an attorney who previously represented DMX was not immediately returned. What's wrong is my man here?

But Winehouse returned to the hospital on Sunday (29Jun08) - and is now refusing to leave until her incarcerated husband is freed. Fielder-Civil is on remand awaiting sentencing for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice following an attack on a pub landlord.Her mother, Janis, says, "She likes it (at the clinic) and feels more secure. She doesn't have any worries while she is in there." Meanwhile, the star provoked outrage at Mandela's 90th birthday concert after changing the words of Free Nelson Mandela, the show's finale song, to "Free Blakey, my fella". Mandela served 27 years in prison for fighting against the racist South African regime.

I did not make it as I was all dressed up but my P.A Gilliano fell ill hours to the concert and we could not work on a day like that. Health is important! There is always next year. To my surprise, all three major Toronto papers did not assign reporters to cover it as of Sunday I have no coverage round up so I found this on YouTube. From what I gathered, people were not at all happy about LL and Monica? I was in touch with Brian, LL's manager to be on standby for a quick interview as they flew in straight to the show and out the same day.
This concert was geared to my age group and all the young ones there like my sons 24, 21 and 16 remember the artists but may be too young to remember the hits. Just look at these YouTube comments below targeting Monica and LL.....OMG! Was it that bad?

Now lolmao222 has done a intro/dedication to his/her subscribers. The most commented on videos and more. This is a highly recommended subscription. When I spoke to this user via e-mail, this was the reply below...............Thanks for putting Aaliyah's memories on YouTube lolmao222. There was no YouTube in 1997 when she died."Kemi, Thank you for the opportunity for allowing me to tell everybody about how Aaliyah has the biggest fan base in the world! Instead of her fan base going down, it grows strong each and every year because everybody wants to know about whom this mysterious sophisticated angel, that was cast upon us for 22 years was and her music! My biggest concern is that I don’t want anyone to view my page as being a fanatic youtuber. That is not what my page is about. It’s about the low lives on youtube/and other websites dragging her name through dirt. The Hate videos that are being made, mocking her death, her music, her character and on a personal level her family. It’s one thing to dislike a person; it’s another when your dislike becomes psychotic to praise the death of an Innocent person and 8 others. I will admit I myself have made some hate videos on my Page.
I have never intended to make such videos until a few group of People decided to poke fun at the dead. So I began to poke fun at each of their favorite artist, which I will admit again was just as wrong as what they were doing. However, some disturbing pages which I shall remain nameless for the fear that other Aaliyah Fans May see these disgusting Background images of the so called “deadliyah” and the graphic nature of the background and videos.
The whole Aaliyah dedication and fascination is overdue. Her fans have always wanted her legacy to always live on the way it does for Tupac & Biggie. Aaliyah contributed so much to the music industry, as well as acting & also contributing to great organizations as well, such as the Revlon Breast cancer research Run that is still going strong to this very day. We only had a glimpse of what she was capable of, and for that it left everyone with a bittersweet feeling. She was the perfect roe-model to a lot of female singers everywhere. She demonstrated Class, pose, elegance, without contradicting who she was as a person. The Aaliyah we see in the public eye was the true person she was. Aaliyah was an intelligent, beautiful, hard-working black woman. She dedicated her life to her craft, which in turn ended her life. And for that I will always remember “The HipHop RnB Queen”
Aaliyah Once said in an interview;
"It's hard to say what I want my legacy to be when I'm long gone."
I'm sure if she knew the impact that she had made on everybody around her & her fans. She would probably have given the question more thought. She definitely wouldn't want anyone to disrespect her craft as an artist or even to compare her to every new female artist that comes out. She would want us to remember the style she brought, to stay true to you, and to never compromise yourself to please anyone. We should encourage new artists, instead of tearing them down limb by limb."

FABULOUS SINGER DWELE PERFORMS IN TORONTO WED JUNE 25TH!
Most of you know Dwele from Kanye West's "Flashing Lights" track off the Graduation CD. He has done a lot of songs with Slum Village and has now released his latest CD called "Sketches of a Man." Stay tuned to my complete coverage of this wonderful Neo-Soul event. The evening started with a rehearsal at the Phoenix Concert Theater and that was when I met Dwele. He was one awesome humble guy. I then went outside to hear from the fans and taped what they were saying as I discovered these were lifelong fans. When the show started, Vocalist Kira Mae opened up with her soothing voice with Neo soul music that just made a good evening!I did not know about Dwele till "Flashing Lights" by Kanye West came along. He sang the entire chorus on that song. The fans had a lot to say. Check out the video below. He is now signed under Koch Records. My fave tracks are 2,4,6,10,20. Thanks to Eric Alper, Media Relations Publicist of KOCH Records Canada for hooking me up to Dwele. Amazing night as after the concert, some chics refused to leave so Nate the Promoter had no choice other than to put them all in one line about 15 women and their men, then Nate opened up a green room and one by one everyone got a picture and or autograph. Then it was off to the afterparty at a small club with the same concert crowd and it was not crowded. It all looked like one private party with a Facebook group. Thanks Nate! Dwele (born Andwele Gardner) is an R&B and soul singer, songwriter and record producer from Detroit, Michigan. Dwele grew up in Detroit, listening to such Motown artists as Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye and jazz on the radio. Dwele began honing his songwriting skills at the age of ten, after his father's murder outside his home. He also attended Detroit's Cody High School. After briefly attending Wayne State, he left college to pursue a more informal education while working for AAA. His demo tape, The Rize, generated interest, and subsequently started collaborating with hip hop group Slum Village and Bahamadia. Dwele's debut album Subject was released in 2003 through Virgin Records, and his second album Some Kinda... followed in October 2005.

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Major Jersey City, New Jersey based website SOHH.COM was hacked today and it is a DISPICABLE act by who was on this? They helped themselves to personal info of everyone connected with the site (staff and users). That means passwords, sensitive information, emails, etc., are all floating around the Internets as I type this. Someone sent Sandra Rose lists of personal information culled from Sohh.com’s servers but she deleted the e-mail. This is a terrible mess! We are all going to support FELICIA PALMER'S HARD WORK!! Troubled singer AMY WINEHOUSE stunned followers at the U.K.'s Glastonbury festival after seemingly attacking a fan. The 24-year-old was singing her hit track Rehab to 75,000 fans on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday (28Jun08) when she jumped from the stage and into the security pit. The star - who has been receiving medical attention for the lung disease emphysema - then appeared to lash out at a fan, striking the unnamed devotee with her fist.But a spokesman for Winehouse insists she was provoked, adding, "The 'lashing out' was when someone tried to grab her hair and she reacted." Winehouse also hit back at fans who booed her as she paid tribute to her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil. She said, "Boo me one more time and I'll find you and your phone and call your mum and tell her you ain't got no manners."

American Idol's season 2 winner Ruben Studdard married Surata Zuri McCants at Canterbury United Methodist Church in his hometown of Birmingham, Ala., Saturday with 20 groomsmen at his side. Studdard, 29, and McCants, 30, obtained a marriage license at the County Probate Office in Columbiana, Ala., last Monday. "They looked really happy," an eyewitness said. On Idol, Studdard was dubbed the "Velvet Teddy Bear" and was known for dressing down in jerseys emblazoned with 205, Birmingham's area code.
But came time for his wedding, the vocalist got decked out. He and his groomsmen wore black Joseph Abboud tuxedos from local outfitter Mr. Burch Formal Wear, says a source. The groomsmen's shirts and vests were black, while Studdard had a white vest and a white bow tie. Studdard met McCants in October 2006, when he was signing CDs at a Wal-Mart in Atlanta. FORMER AC/DC SINGER FIRES OFF AT BOOK AUTHOR!
AC/DC's original frontman has taken aim at the author of the band's lauded biography HIGHWAY TO HELL over the way he has been written out of the group. Dave Evans has dismissed Clinton Walker's account of his departure from the Aussie rock band as "bulls**t", telling the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper he "wanted to strangle" the writer when the book first came out. In the book, Walker attacks Evans, calling him "a shameless exhibitionist", and he reports guitarist Angus Young once threw Evans off a concert stage because he was too drunk to perform.
Angry Evans rants, "It's all bulls**t, a pack of lies. Can you imagine anyone throwing me, the king of all badasses, off the stage?" The former AC/DC singer, who insists Walker never asked him for an interview, adds, "It was just a case of clashing personalities. We all had these young egos and we were like rams butting heads. In retrospect, I suppose I should have just shut up, but I was a strong personality."

Rapper LUPE FIASCO has launched a blistering attack on "tyrannical world leaders" during a performance at the U.K.'s Glastonbury festival. The Superstar hitmaker was mid-way through his set on the Jazz World stage on Friday (27Jun08) when he condemned the actions of U.S. president George W. Bush, British prime minister and Labour party leader Gordon Brown, and Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe. He told the crowd: "F**k Robert Mugabe, f**k George Bush, f**k all tyrannical world leaders. "F**k politics, democrats, socialists, the Labour party. Music's what it's all about."
Wal-Mart relaunches Master P and Romeo's Clothing Line.
Speaking about the "hip-hop Millers," Master P and his son, fellow hip-hop hit-maker Romeo, have agreed to relaunch their P. Miller Designs apparel line exclusively through Wal-Mart, Billboard has learned. The father-son duo's brand of men's apparel will be available at about 350 Wal-Mart stores starting in July and will include graphic T-shirts, fleece hoodies and fashion denims. The P. Miller line was last available at such retailers as Kohl's and Mervyns "a few years ago," Master P (aka Percy Miller) said.Walmart says they have cleaned up the "GANGSTA IMAGE." PINK HAIRED Pop star LILY ALLEN has denied she has a grudge against the media acknowledging journalists are just doing their job by writing about her. The outspoken star regularly lashes out against the press, accusing media outlets of making up stories and criticising the photographers who follow her every move. But Allen has now admitted that she isn't angry about the constant stream of articles about her - as dealing with the media is all part of being famous.And she believes that celebrities should have the right to contradict stories if they aren't true. She says, "I don't have any fury against the press at all. I think the press have a job to do. I'm not angry with them but sometimes they write things that aren't true and I think I have a right to tell my side of the story."
STEVIE WONDER SLAMS NAS' N**GER LP!
Soul legend STEVIE WONDER has blasted rapper NAS for planning to call his new album N**GER - insisting the word is still offensive to a lot of people. Nas came under fire from both the media and his record label, Def Jam, for using the racist term as the title for the LP - and he was eventually persuaded to change it. The record will now simply be titled Nas. But Wonder is disgusted that the star ever decided to use such an inflammatory term for his work - as the public debate over the issue will have stirred up a lot of painful memories for many people. And the Superstition hitmaker hopes the public will eventually be able to erase the insult from their vocabularies. He says, "I'm not with the word only in that we had buried the word and it should have been buried. "People say, 'Well we use it for fun and whatever.' I'm not really feeling it and I know sometimes it comes in (to) conversation... For all the pain that has happened over the years, what that word brings up, it needs to go away."

FIRE DESTROYS TEDDY RILEY'S RECORDING STUDIO!!
A recording studio owned by former BLACKSTREET star TEDDY RILEY and frequented by music greats including MICHAEL JACKSON has been destroyed by fire. The Future Records Recording Studios in Virginia Beach, Virginia was owned by Riley, now an influential producer, and was due to be sold at auction when Tuesday's (24Jun08) blaze broke out. The former singer has suffered a variety of financial and legal difficulties in recent years, filing for bankruptcy in 2002. And he reportedly still owes over $1 million in unpaid taxes. Proceeds from the studio auction were to be used to pay off a loan against the property that Riley later defaulted on. The building first went under the hammer in February (08), but the opening bid of $500,000 was not met.
All this $$$ owed.......That fire sounds awfully suspicious to me......

COLDPLAY rocker CHRIS MARTIN made a young fan's day, when he plucked him from the crowd during a concert to join him onstage. The singer was rehearsing ahead of a live performance on U.S. breakfast programme The Today Show in New York on Friday (27Jun08), when he noticed Lucas Bell in the front row with his arm in a cast.Martin stopped singing, reached down and grabbed Bell - the son of Today show executive producer Jim Bell - lifting him up onto the stage, before grilling him about how he broke his arm. The band performed a string of hits for thousands of fans who gathered outside the show's Rockefeller Center studio - to promote their new album Viva La Vida.
LEWIS FIGHTS TEARS AT MANDELA TRIBUTE!
British chart sensation LEONA LEWIS fought back tears as she performed for NELSON MANDELA at the former South African President's 90th birthday tribute concert in London on Friday (27Jun08). The singer joined an all-star line-up, including Amy Winehouse and Razorlight, at the concert in Hyde Park. Lewis belted out singles Bleeding Love and Better in Time, and confessed to WENN, "It was a really emotional moment for me. "There were definitely a few tears. My auntie and grandmother would tell me stories about Nelson Mandela. I never dreamed I would be up there singing at his birthday celebration. It was very emotional performing for him."The concert I hear was fantastic with Will and Jada hosting plus Amy Winehouse looking superhealthy and Q looking nice and fat, what else could anyone ask for?
