Frank Rizzo: Protesters Place Ku Klux Klan-Like Hood on Statue of Former Philadelphia Mayor

Rizzo was the Mayor in Philly while I was in Pharmacy school over there. He was controversial and a hard liner. Police removed the hood during Friday's protest as activists called for the removal of the "racist" statue across from City Hall, outlets reported. Rizzo was mayor from 1972 to 1980 and died in 1991. 

A debate is raging on over whether or not a statue of former Philadelphia mayor Frank Rizzo, should remain standing in Center City. Today, Black Lives Matter protesters voiced their displeasure.
