Chai, I got some cuteness OVERLOAD today of one dynamic kid who will still taste the presidency one day. Yeah, he's going to be Nigeria's President some day and I'll be in my old folks home at 93yo watching his inauguration at 43yo. L'il Aragorn Fani-Kayode is the son of Miss United Nations 2014, Philantropist and dynamic mom Precious Chikwendu Fani-Kayode and of course dad is mighty politician and mega public figure Femi Fani-Kayode.

First his dad posted a lovely photo of them on his Facebook profile page as they were about to step out, them mom posted hers too on her Instagram. The love for this boy is so special. Perri was known for his cute little face, amazing dance moves and extra big hair in Britain Got talent where he beat Susan Boyle on his dance moves..

He is all grown up now at 20 years old, and thanks to all those years of extreme dancing, has got an impressive six pack.

Jordan Banjo shared the shocking picture on Instagram with his 52.5k followers. Perri shows off his toned physique as he poses poolside in the sun, next to his friends who have equally impressive six-packs.

Fans took to the comments section to praise how good the boys looked in the picture. As well as performing at the Royal Variety Show several times, the dance troop have gone on to tour the UK multiples times, carried the London 2012 Olympic Games torch and released their own fitness DVD – which has clearly been working for the boys.

Perri now works as a presenter and has co-hosted the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards.

Diversity has recently announced their next UK tour – which will take place in 2017.

I met this young man on Instagram and he convinced me to read his piece. I loved it so much as I am a gun violence activist and believe you should still have guns for protection and not for crimes. However, Nigeria does not have a second amemdment law like the United States with respect to the right to bear arms freely. I decided to publish his article on my blog, something I never do. There are some youth who really impress me with their thoughts. Read this awesome piece below.

The Availability of firearms and light weapons in our contemporary Nigerian society : How do they found their way in ?

The availability of small arms and light weapons in our communities is a threat to our National security. Any society with high numbers of illegal arms is prone to violence ( electoral violence, domestic violence and regular communal crisis.

Take Rivers State Nigeria for example, the ongoing amnesty programs for cultists in a sub-region of the state had a recorded a massive turnout. A total number of eight thousands five hundred and seventy-two (8572) arms of different categories were handed over to the State governor today.

According to United Nations Office For Disarmament Affairs (UNODA)

Illicit flows of small arms and light weapons undermine security and the rule of law. They are often a factor behind the forced displacement of civilians and massive human rights violations.

This region in Rivers state has been experiencing internal torments, as those who has access to guns and other weapons became rulers of the day and rulers of the night. The news of death became a normal news in the airwaves, regular cult crashes and electoral violence became a normal life in that area until the governor finally got the wisdom to initiate the Amnesty programs .

The question on our lips now is how did these weapons find their way into our society?

Agreed that weapons are expensive and those that are selling them as licensed gun dealers in our societies don't just sell to any person. If this is true it means only those who have political influence and economic power are those who have access to them.

90 percent of illegal arms in Nigeria found their way in during elections ( ref. Criminology and Justice system By Dambazau 2006), power seeking politicians will buy guns and then handover the guns to thugs to be used in electoral rigging and malpractices and after the election season they will find it too difficult to recover the guns because the boys now view the guns as another means to get to the top because our society celebrates wealth irrespective of the source.

We must not also dispute the fact that some evil minded humans can go any miles to get weapons whenever they are in need of them.

It will interest you to know that top Countries within the United Nations who are preaching against violence of any kind, in every part of the globe are the same countries that are selling this weapons because of their capitalist mindsets

As a report from the control arms campaign, Shattered Lives, mentions:

"The five permanent members of the UN Security Council—France, Russia, China, the UK, and the USA—together account for 88 per cent of the world’s conventional arms exports; and these exports contribute regularly to gross abuses of human rights.”

The guns that were retrieved in the case of Rivers state may one day go back into the society to achieve some certain personal interest in a world that is controlled by Capitalists if they are not handed over to our national armoury.

The United States is deeply concerned by the deaths of dozens of Nigerians during clashes between individuals participating in a Shia procession and the Nigerian Police Force in Kano State on November 14. While the matter is still under investigation, we are troubled by the apparent disproportionate response by the police. This is the latest in a series of violent incidents between security forces and members of the Shia Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), some of which have resulted in deaths, destruction of property, and the arbitrary detention of IMN members. The United States calls for calm and restraint on all sides, a reduction of tensions, and greater communication between Shia citizens and government authorities.

Members of the Shia community, like other religious communities, have the right to assemble, peacefully express their religious beliefs, and mark their celebrations. We call on the Nigerian government to protect and defend these rights. It is also incumbent on members of the IMN and all Nigerian citizens to respect the rule of law and cooperate with the police as they attempt to maintain public order.

We continue to urge the government to ensure accountability for the deaths of more than 300 IMN members during December 15, 2015 clashes between the IMN and security forces in Zaria, Kaduna State. We also call on the Nigerian government to conduct a transparent investigation of the latest incidents and bring to account anyone responsible for violating the law.

It is truly a sad day as we keep hearing more deaths occurring. Now comes word that Yinka Adeparusi a renowned photojournalist with Naij.com has passed away. Sources tell #HNNAfrica that Adeparusi was last seen alive on Sunday November 13th 2016 at about 1pm when he stepped out of his apartment quick and never came back. He went missing only to find out the next day that he was in an Okada motorcycle accident.

There has been several bike accidents this past week and it is something tragic. He was an Ace photojournalist and known to many. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Republicans held on to key Senate seats in Indiana and Florida on Tuesday as they sought to hold off the Democrats' bid to retake the Senate majority.

But Democrats grabbed a Republican-held seat in Illinois in a race that has been described as a "coin flip" between the two parties.

The main focus of US and world media has been on the brutal race for the White House between the Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. Historically, Presidents have always struggled to pass their agenda while contending with an opposition-run House and Senate.

Republicans hold a majority of 54 to 46 in the Senate, which means Democrats need to pick up just four seats to take the majority if Ms Clinton wins the White House.

Some observers have suggested the possibility of a hung Senate providing the Vice President, either Republican Mike Pence or Democrat Tim Kaine, with the deciding vote.

Now if Hillary wins and the whole Senate is Republican, that is a recipe for disaster right there. My own gun laws will hit another 4 years of a roadblock as Obama couldn't get the gun loving NRA folks in the GOP to pass any decent laws. Lets keep watching!--KOO

I was right when I said that by the end of 2016, IPOB will be declared a terror group. Today the Feds have pinned them as terrorists and charged another one of them with terror. This country is going down and the Biafrans did not take my advise, instead they rained curses on me and fled my Facebook page after I put in 8 weeks of work for them this time last year.

The Federal Government on Tuesday re-arraigned leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, along with other accused on charges that include terrorism, before the third judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The accused were re-arraigned before Justice Binta Nyako on amended 11 counts, comprising terrorism, treasonable felony, managing an unlawful society, publication of defamatory matter, illegal possession of firearms and improper importation of goods.

All the counts were in connection with the accused persons’ alleged broadcasts on Radio Biafra and agitation for the secession from of states in the South-East and South-South zones and other communities in Kogi and Benue states, to constitute a Republic of Biafra.

The original charges filed on December 18, 2015 had only six counts, with the exclusion of terrorism which is now the 11th count in the new charges filed on November 11, 2016.

When I call Nigerians illiterates, they see it as an abusive word. It simply means you can't read or write or grasp the meanings and spellings of words. Here's a stupid example on this thread. Earlier today, my e-mail address was hijacked and used by someone at Linda Ikeji Social website. I was livid and sent out a cyberwarfare warning if not removed in 48 hrs. I noticed it at 6.15am and by 10.20am it was fixed. The social platform of the blogger has too many bugs and if we don't complain, they won't improve.

"Thank u @officiallindaikeji Social for deleting the FAKE account created with my business email off ur server. We MUST learn from HUGE mistakes! Pls find a fool proof way to avoid this senseless act of internet trolls who create impersonation all over social media. An email is a powerful tool. It can be used to open 30 social platforms or more. If it is not confirmed people will start operating in my name. Its that activation email I didnt receive. I opened my account with my personal email for that reason when your server said "that email has been registered" which shocked me! I will continue exploring it and point out any flaws. Consider verifying authentic accounts or your 50,000 followers accounts. People's financial info are on your server. I was LIVID! Once again thanks for the prompt action and good luck with LIS."

Sianis and goat Billy Murphy

The Curse of the Billy Goat was the name of a sports-related curse that was supposedly placed on the Chicago Cubs Major League Baseball franchise in 1945 by Billy Goat Tavern owner William Sianis that lasted in a 71-year period from 1945 to 2016. Those newborns when Sianis cursed up the stadium security are now 71 yo people now. Because the odor of his pet goat Murphy (which we call OBUKO here in Nigeria), was bothering other fans, Sianis was asked to leave Wrigley Field, the Cubs' home ballpark, during game 4 of the 1945 World Series. Outraged, Sianis allegedly declared, "Them Cubs, they ain't gonna win no more," which has been interpreted to mean that either the Cubs would never win another National League (NL) pennant, or that they would never again win a World Series.

The Cubs lost the 1945 World Series to the Detroit Tigers, and did not win a World Series championship again until 2016. After the incident with Sianis and Murphy, the Cubs did not play in the World Series for the next 71 years until, on the 46th anniversary of Billy Sianis' death, they defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 5–0 in game 6 of the 2016 National League Championship Series to win the NL pennant.The Cubs defeated the American League (AL) champion Cleveland Indians 8–7 in game 7 (which lasted 10 innings) to win the 2016 World Series, thus ending the curse. The hall was packed by noon, I met her family and Seye Kehinde the Editor gave a very hard hitting speech and perfectly eulogized Bolanle Olufunke Davies. the event was at Mauve 21 hall in Ring road, Ibadan with the who and whos of Ibadan along with prominent journalists on had including Parrot magazine Publisher Yinka Agboola. Comedian Taiwo Obama and Journalist Wole Adejumo co-hosted the event. Bola can never be replaced at the media house. She was a unique gem--KOO

Former Nigerian Custom boss Abdullahi Dikko RETURNS N1B he allegedly STOLE #HNNMoney

Former Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Dikko has returned N1,004,000,000 to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Punch reports.

Dikko is being investigated by the EFCC and it was discovered that N40bn was diverted from the service’s account during his period as Comptroller-General between 2009 and 2015.

Dikko was arrested in June but was later released due to poor health.

A source in the EFCC said Dikko has refunded over N1bn and still expected to return more.

“So far, Dikko has returned over N1bn. He returned N1bn and then N4m. He is still expected to return more money,” the source said. It was also said that a N2B mansion that belonged to him was seized.

Yes, she is a Texas girl so she should know country music well. The buzz is over as Beyonce took the stage at the CMA's with the Dixie Chicks. Beyonce sang her track "Daddy Lessons" with the Dixie Chicks, which consists of Natalie Maines, Emily Robison and Martie Maguire. That song earned a cover with the Dixie Chicks and the crowd just went wild tonight. 

Beyonce has also performed with Sugarland on the AMA stage in 2008 before. Her hit song "Irreplaceable" was that song. Country music met pop and it was all a good crossover. Many country music stars praised her on Twitter.

#Nigerian Government Officials are RAPING female #BokoHaram Survivors #HNNTerror

Women and girls who survived Boko Haram violence were raped by government officials at camps in northern Nigeria where they sought safety, according to a new rights group report.

Dozens of victims who stayed at camps for the displaced in Borno State's capital Maiduguri told Human Rights Watch they were sexually abused or coerced into sex by camp leaders, vigilante group members, policemen and soldiers. Many of the women were abandoned after becoming pregnant.
"It is bad enough that these women and girls are not getting much-needed support for the horrific trauma they suffered at the hands of Boko Haram," said Mausi Segun, senior Nigeria researcher at HRW.

"It is disgraceful and outrageous that people who should protect these women and girls are attacking and abusing them."
