Calling all KatyCats! MuchMusic kicks off the biggest award show on the planet with a bang, as the inimitable Katy Perry is the first performer announced for the 2012 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS. The Billboard chart-topper and style icon hits the MMVA stage for a second time to blow minds with what is sure to be an explosive performance. Two years ago, Perry made a sweet arrival on the MMVA red carpet in an ice cream truck and dazzled fans with her Candyfornia-themed performance. There might not be ice cream again, but there will surely be screams for Katy! “What other award show shuts down major city blocks to bring thousands of fans at arms length to the biggest pop stars in the world?,” said Sheila Sullivan, Executive Producer, 2012 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS. “We’re thrilled to kick off this year’s show with the announcement of one of today’s most sought after artists, Katy Perry. Gilly Gadan is one of those Canadian Rappers that has been trying to step up his game forever and now he has. I was his mentor during his teen days getting him off the streets and to work. Gilly used to be poked fun of as he told people he was going to volunteer for me working at industry events. Then he'll come back with pics with celebs and people started taking him seriously. This has to have taken a toll on J-Hud when you watch David Otunga's interview on Wendy Williams show. I remember covering this for Radio Nigeria International when the little boy's body was found. I can't believe the media out there ignoring this man. That was an innocent family AND KID! I hope Balfour faces the wrath of the Justice system. Hear my report in 2008.

After all, he grew up in Canada which is more leaned towards soccer rather than the NFL.Time now is 5.42pm Eastern and he Facebooked this at 5.38pm 4/25/12. Above is the Spike4Life St Patrick's day Celebrity volleyball game in Toronto that KJ and I attended with Toronto rappers P.Reign and Drake hosting. On Sunday morning, April 25, 1999 at 7:20am, police found Larry Troutman in his car, dead as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His younger brother Roger was found a couple of blocks away; his death was ruled a homicide. To this day, no motive is known, though a business dispute was suspected. Sources say that Larry had not slept in several days and was not in his normal state of mind at the time. Zapp will be missed, many of the younger artists need to know this-MsKemi@HipHossip

I worked so hard with Toronto Police Service to make sure the venue was ready for you and no hoodlooms were gonna be shooting and messing up your show and even the Deputy Chief emailed me back this morning after I talked to the Suprintendent of 51 precinct at 8.15am his morning in the area where they messed up Jeezy's concert. Some of you all out there need to stop the concert violence that trails these rappers and let ppl watch the damn show. Canada's immigration is tough but at the same time, hip-hop is being attacked and some of y'all making it worse!
