LADY GAGA's representative has dismissed reports the POKER FACE hitmaker is on a dangerous baby food diet in a desperate attempt to slay slim. Editors at Britain's Heat magazine claimed the singer was only eating s mall portions of food intended for tots in a bid to keep her weight down.

CHRIS MARTIN and his COLDPLAY bandmates regret snubbing GLEE creator RYAN MURPHY's offer to showcase their music on his hit musical TV show. Before Murphy planned his all-Madonna episode, which aired in the U.S. last week (20Apr10), he approached Coldplay with a view to showcasing the British band's music - but the Yellow hitmakers turned him down. But now the show's a big hit, the bandmates have big regrets about not allowing Murphy access to their back catalogue.

He reveals to E! News that Coldplay told him, "We were wrong." The brains behind Glee has moved on now and is currently considering ep isodes dedicated to Britney Spears and Courtney Love, as well as another show featuring Madonna's hits. And his cast have ideas for musical tributes too - actor Kevin McHale w ants a show dedicated to the music of Cher.

RAPPER M.I.A STIRRING CONTROVERSY WITH THE LATEST VIDEO.

If singer/rapper M.I.A.'s purpose was to get people talking about her new single "Born Free," she succeeded.

The Sri Lankan-born artist debuted the graphic video on Monday. Immediately, fans took to social media to debate its scenes of military force, violence and brutality.

"M.I.A. is a provocateur and someone who tries to rile people up in a variety of ways," said Saul Austerlitz, author of "Money for Nothing: A History of the Music Video from the Beatles to the White Stripes."

"I think one of the main routes that she takes to that end is the political, and this video has a lot of political resonances, things like Guantanamo, the Iraqi insurgency and the Taliban all sort of jumbled together and rebranded."

The almost nine-minute video for the song from her upcoming album includes nudity as well as scenes of brutality. Directed by filmmaker Romain Gavras, the video revolves around the rounding up of red-headed young men by a group of military commandos.

At one point, a boy is shot point-blank in the head and another young man is blown to pieces.

HOLY COW: CATHOLIC CHURCH WANTS SUSAN BOYLE TO SING FOR THE POPE.

The Roman Catholic Church in Scotland wants Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle to perform for Pope Benedict XVI during his visit to Britain later this year, a spokesman said Sunday

Boyle, who was catapulted to global stardom after appearing on a British TV talent show, would be a "great asset" to events planned for Benedict's trip in September, said a spokesman for the Church in Scotland.

He said there were hopes a meeting could be held to discuss the involvement of the Scottish singer at a public mass in Glasgow during the papal visit.

"She certainly would be a great asset to the programme on the day and we hope to be able to discuss the possibility of her participation soon," said the spokesman.

There was no confirmed agreement with the star as yet and no formal invitation or approach had been made, he added.

The leader of the world's Catholics will be in Britain on September 16-19. Besides Glasgow, he will visit London and Coventry, where he will beatify Cardinal John Henry Newman, a 19th century theologian.

Boyle -- a plain, single, unemployed 49-year-old -- was discovered in April last year when she stunned judges on the television show "Britain's Got Talent" with her performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical "Les Miserables".

Although she ended runner-up in the competition, footage of her singing became a YouTube hit, with more than 100 million viewings.

Her first album, "I Dreamed a Dream," was the best-selling debut in British chart history and also topped the US charts.

Boyle, from Blackburn in eastern Scotland, has become the focus of enormous media attention since her talent show success, with British tabloid newspapers dubbing her "SuBo".

He was just at the JUNOS last Sunday where he lost but now we hear Australian police Monday shut down a concert by teenage Canadian singer Justin Bieber over crowd safety fears after young fans were injured in surges hours before the free event was due to start.

Sixteen-year-old Bieber had been slated to sing three songs from the Sydney Harbour foreshore venue early Monday but the event was cancelled after thousands of fans, many of whom had been camping out overnight, began pushing.

"Police at the event were concerned for the 4,000 excited people already in attendance with many more anticipated to arrive prior to the start of the performance," New South Wales police said in a statement.

"All those removed from the area have so far suffered only minor injuries and have been treated at the scene."

Bieber, who later sang one song live on local television, apologised to those who had waited to see him perform at his only Australian gig.

"I am so sorry that it got out of control, we don't want anyone to get hurt. It gets crazy sometimes," he said.

On the micro-blogging site Twitter, Bieber said that he was "just as disappointed as everyone else" that the concert did not go ahead.

"I woke up this morning to the police canceling the show for safety reasons," he wrote. "I love my fans... I love it here in Australia... and I want to sing."

Bieber rose to fame with his global hit "One Time".

BREAKING NEWS: NOT AGAIN...BRETT MICHAELS HAS SUFFERED A BRAIN HEMMORAGE...IN CRITICAL CONDITION!

UPDATE: After Brett was mostly stabilized much of Saturday, he has since turned critical again today Sunday 4/25/2010. His speech is slurred. Pls put him in your prayers.

OMG, after all the deaths this week and last and with Devon's brain hemmorage collapse last week, now comes word that Brett Michaels who also has a reality show career (Celebrity Apprentice) is in critical condition suffering from a brain haemorrhage, his publicist said.

Joann Mignano confirmed a report on a website that said the former Poison frontman was rushed to intensive care on Thursday after suffering a severe headache. The report said doctors discovered bleeding at the base of his brain stem.

Mignano said tests are being conducted and that no further information was available.

The 47-year-old reality TV star had an emergency appendectomy last week after complaining of stomach pains.

He said on his website that the surgery "has taken its toll" but doctors expected him to make a full recovery.

Michaels starred on the VH1 dating show Rock of Love and is a contestant on Donald Trump's NBC reality show, The Celebrity Apprentice.

Trump said in a statement he was "deeply saddened" to hear of Michaels' condition.

"He's a great competitor and champion, and I hope he will be fine," Trump said.

Olaitan Oladapo Olaonipekun was his real name and we hear DaGrin dies yesterday afternoon after a ghastly car crash. he passed away at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria where employees were on strike reducing patient care staff. Awful! Nigeria has bred so many rappers in the last decade grabbing mainstream awards like MTV Europe and MTV Africa trophies. The industry will sure miss him.

WEEK OF TRAGEDIES: RAPPER GURU WILL BE MISSED!

The family of Gang Starr rapper Guru have questioned the validity of a letter he supposedly wrote on his deathbed, in which his supposed last wishes were outlined.

The 47-year-old, real name Keith Elam, died on April 19 from cancer. He had been in a coma since February.

Elam's family released a statement to DJpremierblog.com, the website of his former Gang Starr partner DJ Premier. In it, they stated that Guru was in a coma from mid-February until his death – making it unfeasible that he could have written a letter from his deathbed. Producer Solar made the supposed Guru letter public after his death.

The letter released by Solar stated that DJ Premier should not be allowed to trade under Gang Starr's name in future. In March, Guru's nephew released a video saying Solar had "completely cut us off" [his family] from seeing the rapper.

Referring to Guru's condition before he died in their letter, the family wrote: "Guru suffered from multiple myeloma for over a year. Accrued complications from this illness led to respiratory failure and cardiac arrest. As a result, Guru was in a coma from mid-February until his death and never regained consciousness."

They added: "The Elam family wishes to thank the fans of our son/brother/father/uncle/nephew/cousin Keith, aka Guru, for the outpouring of love, concern and support. Our hearts are broken by the loss of someone we loved so much. Guru was devoted to his young son, who will most keenly feel his absence."

An "all-inclusive memorial event" is being planned for the near future by Guru's family, according to the letter.

The Junos returned to St. John's, the capital of Canada's youngest province, Newfoundland, for the first time since 2002. In the intervening years, this celebration of English-language Canadian music has been held in six of the other nine provinces. The awards are slated to return to their traditional home of Toronto next year.

So you know how moms always tell their boys to bring home a "good girl?" KJ wanted to go use the bathroom and I told him to go while we were eating dinner at the Delta hotel in St Johns, New Foundland at the 2010 JUNOS here in Canada..... when he came back with an older lady. I mean his fave song is the one where Headley sings the song about the "cougar on the prowl." (Don't Talk to Strangers album) She brings her over to me and says..."Mom, I want you to meet Drake's MOM!" What? I said...Drake's mom?

KJ recognized her from the red carpet at the Grammys in February 2010 and my jaws dropped when he recognized her again at THE BAR near the lobby and brought her straight to me lol. Sandi Graham is a former educator and she sat with KJ and they chatted for an HOUR, she ordered her food which they ended up sharing with KJ taking home the doggy bag. Hot fish and chips! This was all videotaped. Video here. I swear it was like he brought me his new "woman."

Meanwhile Drake and his ATL entourage were eating on the other side of the restaurant totally unaware of what was cooking on our side. KJ had gone for some drakelike "discussions" earlier with Drake on his table and he did a drop for his blog Thekidreporter.com

Although Justin Bieber was not contending for that Juno, he was expected to win the new artist award. However, Drake, a TV star turned rapper with whom he had dueted earlier in the evening on his hit "Baby," edged out Bieber for that Juno. Drake also won best rap recording for "So Far Gone." I spoke to Drake outside the press room congratulating him and later KJ met up with Drake for his drop at dinner at the Delta hotel across from the red carpet venue.

This year at the JUNOS, we hung out with Classi all over the place and remember I was the first kid in the world to interview Classified in Jan 2009!
