Staten Island Mall: Fireworks Inside Shopping Center Prompt Evacuation #HNNEnvironment

 

Witnesses falsely reported an active shooter at the New Springville mall Saturday, causing an evacuation, after fireworks were set off near the food court, police said. Fireworks are similar in sound to gunshots.
