R&B Group "702" loses founding member Orish Grinstead dead at 27!

Orish Grinstead, founding member of R&B girl group 702 out of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, April 20th from kidney failure. She was 27 years old. Orish, who created the group along with her twin sister, Irish and big sister Lameisha, was what friends called 'a good person, sweet, sincere, humble and full of life.' According to friends Orish had been ill for a long time, and sadly, due to other medical complications she suffered from including cancer that had yet to be treated, she was not expected to live too long. She is the one in the middle.

702
was named after the area code of their hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada, is an American platinum-selling female R&B trio. Originally a quartet, the group eventually became a trio, which includes sisters Irish Grinstead (born June 2, 1980), LeMisha 'Misha' Grinstead (born June 10, 1978), Orish Grinstead (also born June 2, 1980), and lead singer Kameelah 'Meelah' Williams (born March 8, 1978) who left the group in 2001 to start her own solo career but returned in 2003.

  1. The girl in the middle is not Orish! That's the older sister Lameisha. Orish was in the video with Subway "These games we play"
