A couple of days ago, I received an e-mail update from Canadian gossip blogger Zack Taylor. It was about the booting of Dennis Rodman from a hotel he was staying harrassing guests and scaring kids. This update came into my inbox from Zack Taylor at about 2pm in the afternoon. At exactly 8.30pm, the same update came into my inbox from TMZ. Let's face it, Taylor got the scoop first!
Why I am starting something is that my dear friend on Flow 93.5FM Melanie Martin does an hourly entertainment scoop daily on the morning show and that scoop quotes Zack's site all the time but NEVER mentioning his blog or him! Notice how Melanie quotes the "sometimes unreliable" "Star magazine" and "Mediatakeout.com" but calls Zacktaylor.ca......."a Canadian blogger" I commend her for at least not calling it "unreliable" because Zack's blog is very "reliable." He is very CREDIBLE! I am not saying this because Taylor is one of my blog partners, so is a lot of blogs I exchange links with but because his stuff is enlightening, fun and terrific scoops right out of Hollywood and it doesn't hurt to credit a blog's name on the radio.
As an African American living in Canada, shouldn't Canada stand on it's own with it's very own home town blogger? Taylor is a socialite, radio host, celebrity blogger, Publicist and more. Add Paris Hilton, Perez Hilton and Ryan Seacrest and a touch of PR and you got a better combo....ZACK TAYLOR. Canada should be proud of it's own "Iconic Celebrity." Look at his grin back there while I was trying to take photos with his dad! LOL! They are spitting images.
This young man is absolutely professional and has broken stories on that blog, been featured on a big breaking story on CityNews, National Post, CBC, he's at every award show red carpet and parties in Hollywood and here, has some exceptional gigs like his Winter Bash in January that was star studded, auditions at "So you think you can dance", "Canada's Next Top Model," "Project Runway" etc...etc... Zack Taylor is a force and one to be reckoned with. He's even got a party tour going on with Playboy beauty Lana Tailor (no relation and different spelling) At 45, I love young people doing big things! I am down with Zack....are You? To my dynamic media relations pals Amy Doary, Jen Corelli, Rom Halverson and Jaime Werby at Much Music......please sincerely consider Zack Taylor as being a PRESENTER at this next Much Music Awards on June 21st 2009. He's all Canadian! Perez has presented last year, now it's time for a CANADIAN superblogger! ZACK TAYLOR!
