Wenn reports that Haitian rapper Wyclef Jean ran into immigration trouble in Canada on Friday after misplacing his visa, which authorizes him to legally live and work in the U.S.
The former Fugees star is due to perform in Montreal this weekend but he was stopped by border officials upon arriving in the city after discovering he had lost his green card, which would have aided his entry into Canada.
In a panic, he tweeted, "Just landed in Montreal I'm at immigration waiting I lost my Greencard! I gotta (sic) 1 million fans waiting let me in!"
Luckily for Wyclef, officials allowed him into the country and he later updated fans with the good news, writing, "I am in Montreal all went well at immigration ready or not here I come!"

Don't tell this to the other rappers who get turned away from the border because of one issue or another. It's not always a felony. I heard Nipsey was turned back just for that shooting outside his Feb 2012 concert which left 13 shot and injured which he had NOTHING to do with and even issued a statement saying the shooters had no tickets to the event. Must be the Haiti/Montreal connection--MsKemi
