#HIPHOSSIP5: HOW THE JOURNEY BEGAN FOR THE CANADIAN OLYMPIC TEAM.

On the Aug 10th, 2012 front page of the Toronto Sun: The GTA's Diana Matheson was waving the flag after scoring the Olympic bronze medal-winning goal for Canada in women's soccer. It was not all like this COVER earlier this week with the SOCCER GATE going on and more issues with the Canadian Olympic team. The cover of the Sun clearly said "Canada needs a hug." Canadian athletes, Despiate, Whitfield and Sinclair were all burned. The whole country needed a hug. Now they have rose from the ashes and brought home a few medals bit only Rosie's gold.

Before they left, I got to meet some members of the Olympic team at their send off block party but before that the torch bearers for Canada were the ones that started the process of giving Team Canada's support I will introduce you three special torchbearers who are exceptional Canadians pursuing their passion. Samsung Canada made that happen for them.

Michael Joseph Bruni  and Jamie Piekarz

A campaign called #Pursueyourpassion was launched on twitter and these three individuals pursued theirs. They are Jamie Piekarz, Michael Joseph Bruni and Joel Lightman. The three carried the torch to the UK and participated in the torch relay in Edinburgh.
