FOR THOSE WHO ASKED: Linda Ikeji is NOT my competition. I am an international Journalist and Professional Blogger among other things. Big ups to Linda after I asked her never to write a story again about me and she has honored my wish after she wrote a fake story in 2013 saying I warned bloggers with a GUN. This post pitched her fans against me with very vicious comments. She apologized and promised never to write a story about me ever again. This is proof on my old twitter handle. Tope Makinwa also demanded the same treatment but that does not seem to be working.
Differences between us.
- Linda is an Entertainment news blogger based in Nigeria
- I am a Music and World news professional Blogger and Journalist based in US/Nigeria/Canada.
- My blog hits are 1.8 million page views and its on my blog. Linda has not gotten there yet. We have different news products to start with and mine started as GLOBAL MUSIC NEWS.
- Linda get a lot of comments on her blog while my blog is editorial and I do not open my blog to comments.
- I am a Journalist because I studied Broadcast Journalism
- Linda is NOT a Journalist as her FB news page says. She should pick the Blog/Website option or just public figure. Her format of news is written on a blog template and thus a blogger. My blog www.hnnAfrica.com is also on a blog template and was the former www.hiphossip.com, Canada's leading music blog 2007-2012. This is the reason why I am referred to as a professional blogger. All professional bloggers are usually Journalists and reporters.
