Except for one thing, I am NOT a Lesbian but 80% my friends in Canada are Gay and Lesbians, a wonderful gay friendly country. Homosexuals are wonderful people.

Most of you know that I proposed to Rhodes my longtime male friend for so long on social media and it did not work out. He asked me to marry him in Canada and I declined due to distance but when I got home, he was not ready anymore. Longtime friendships can cause affection even in the same sex. To Nigerians, I am NOT bisexual but one has to face these proposals every so often in life. Affection is normal. I can always marry any man, even Nigerians to get back into Canada to live since I'm only allowed to visit. I'm not even trying to live in any foreign country after 35 years in North America, the best times in my life with 30 years in the USA and 5 in Canada.

I am busy building my brand @HipHossip on twitter in my country and still connect with the world in my fight against gun violence, child slavery, child trafficking and helping fight gun control in America where my oldest two adult sons were born and live in. Maybe I can teach Nigerians today that Gays and Lesbians are perfectly NORMAL people. 

We attack their culture and lifestyle but most heterosexual Nigerians still practice and enjoy anal and oral sex and also want to move to their countries for a better life. Why are we demeaning them?

SFTC: TORONTO POLICE ENLISTS LOCAL RAPPERS TO RECORD AN ANTI-VIOLENCE POLICE OFFICER PROGRAM PSA.

The Toronto Sun's Crime Reporter Chris Doucette spotlights a story unheard of. Rappers teaming up with local police to foster a better community. The Toronto Anti－Violence Intervention Strategy is a Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services provincially funded initiative, dedicated to creating and maintaining sustainable, safe neighbourhoods. TAVIS initiatives are operating in all of the 17 Toronto police Divisions and are supported by every unit in the Service.

The key message for this TAVIS PSA is that TAVIS officers are there to help the community, not harass them. TAVIS officers listen and talk with community members and the goal is to work together and basically the two parts to TAVIS is community building and enforcement.

One by one, Gilly Gadan, Linkx, NES, Berg Beauge, Jay Stackz, David a.k.a. D, and Kadar Star busted rhymes for TAVIS, urging people to “trust” and “help” police.“I couldn’t believe the things they were saying,” Mills said excitedly. “I was just blown away!”He believes the messages were more powerful than any ad police could have produced on their own. The rappers’ contributions will be woven together and cut down to two 30-second spots, slated to air May 31 on Z103.5 and FLOW 93.5.But Mills was so impressed, he plans to post them in their entirety on youtube.com/torontopolice. While getting the rappers to say “all the right things” was easy, Mills said convincing them to work with cops may have been impossible if not for the help of crime victim advocate Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo.

She put the call out for rappers on her highly popular music blog, Hip-Hossip, and had 700 responses. But that number dwindled to just a handful when she explained cops were involved.“I screened them to be sure they were sincere,” she said. “I didn’t want anyone who was only doing it just to boost their career.” However, as a Canadian correspondent on a new hip-hop show called The Deal on BET, she plans to reward the volunteers by giving them some exposure.Omololu-Olunloyo said the young men who participated have had trouble with the law to varying degrees, but she believes that gives them more credibility with the youth.

“These are all positive guys who have turned their lives around,” Omololu-Olunloyo said.She actually helped mentor one of the rappers, Gilly Gaden, after meeting him “on the block” near Jane St. and Wilson Ave.“I was living the fast life, selling drugs and pimpin’,” he explained. “But music changed my life.”

Asbestos has been released in parts of the area so caution is being taken. Imagine now the authorities are talking about violations at that company like PEOPLE SMOKING AT THE JOB IN A PROPANE FACILITY? QUESTIONS REMAIN......I'M GETTING TENANTS INSURANCE TODAY! YOU NEED IT IN THIS TORONTO!

YVETTE ADRIAN BEAKES: ALL THAT MATTERS TO ME EVERY AUGUST 9TH!!

7 YEARS!! There are some stories in the media you never forget. One such story is the carjacking death of my former Pharmacy colleague. The story is too sad for me to recount as it all started on August 9th 2001 and Yvette's body was found two days later in Baltimore, Maryland. Rest in Peace. If you know where Jason Beakes or her mom Laverna Cordova is, my # is 647-344-5390. Every year I have always tried to get in touch but it is always a dead end!

The last time I saw her, in fact......she had just babysat KJ for me after my house burned down and we were living in a hotel for the next 3 months. I always tell KJ about Yvette today. She took this picture and I will forever remember her! KJ loved Yvette so much at 6 months old that he did not want her leaving that day....not knowing that will be his last time seeing her. It was taken July 31st 2001.

All this because someone owed child support to another woman and they "needed to rob a woman in a nice car to pay it off" or go to jail the next week! Yvette was at the wrong place at the wrong time. This sad story had so many twists. A story that reflected the flaws in the 911 system. Someone saw everything go down and called 911 but they did NOTHING! Her mom sued in Federal court and ultimately lost the case.

I was that co-worker and our pharmacy District Manager Kelly Shanahan was the wife of the Police Chief Shanahan in that 911 jurisdiction that Yvette's mom lost that case to. It was too close to comfort. A mere tragedy nobody will forget. Yvette did not die in vain. She was 26.....Please take time to read the story of our beloved friend, colleague, daughter and sister/aunt.

INTERNET AND DIGITAL CABLE/PHONE PROBLEMS IN NORTHWEST TORONTO!

UPDATE: ..........AND I live in Northwest Toronto plus my home office and studio was GROUNDED 3 DAYS as the problems started to creep up 7 days ago! We had no cable, phone or internet! Things are still being intermittently being repaired as there is still one service check this morning Saturday 31st. I have received all your e-mails and press releases. The loss of signal paralyzed offices and businesses too.

I told you earlier "Do not 100% count on seeing new NEWS on the blog till Saturday but keep checking" but now things are back online. I missed a ton of business calls and couldn't even do anything. I picked up your e-mails from the library downstairs. Rogers Communications said it was an MPA problem. The technicians know what this means.

Best part I was credited for the entire month of May ($120 value!) Oh yeah!........Thanx for your patience!!! BTW, that picture was taken on my 16th birthday. I shall be 45 this August......Never lie about that age and I'm no teenage mama for those of you who asked about KJ's brothers. They are once again 23, 21, 16+ and KJ is 7+ and I had all boys. Those older ones give me $20 after each paycheck as my weekly salary. Couldn't a hardworking single mama earn $60 a week extra? I am a single mom too....abusive dad! I am an advocate for domestic violence and you must leave when that happens. I also work closely with Mildred Muhammed, the ex-wife of the DC Sniper who terrorized her and everyone in the DC/Baltimore area where I lived in 2002. 13 people were gunned down!
