RIHANNA ASKS COURT ORDER BARRING CHRIS BROWN BE LOWERED, GETS WISH.

A court order was lifted on Tuesday that had prevented R&B singer Chris Brown from coming into close contact with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna since a violent altercation two years ago.

Los Angeles Superior Court judge Patricia Schnegg downgraded the stay-away order that said Brown, 21, must stay 50 yards away from Rihanna, or 10 yards at entertainment industry events.

Schnegg replaced it with a less stringent order that bars Brown from harassing or annoying Rihanna, but allows him to speak to her.

Rihanna was not in court but her lawyer said that the "Rude Boy" and "Umbrella" singer had no objection to the change.

Brown, 21, who did attend Tuesday's brief hearing, pleaded guilty in 2009 to assaulting Rihanna on the eve of the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. He was sentenced to five years probation and community service and recently completed a year-long domestic violence course.

Brown last week skipped the music industry's Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, despite being nominated for three honors. Rihanna performed on the show but failed to win any of the four awards for which she was nominated.

CHRIS BROWN DENIED ENTRY IN UK DUE TO CONVICTION AND EUROPEAN TOUR CANCELLED!

Chris Brown has postponed the European leg of his current tour after he was denied entry into the U.K. The Kiss Kiss hitmaker was due to bring his Fan Appreciation Tour to Europe but he's been forced to call off the dates after British immigration officials refused to grant him a work visa.

It is believed Brown's application was rejected due to a conviction stemming from his fight with Rihanna last year. The singer was sentenced to six months community labour, five years probation, and ordered to stay away from the Umbrella hitmaker after pleading guilty to felony assault.

A statement from his spokesperson reads, "Due to issues surrounding his work visa, (the) Ireland and United Kingdom leg of Chris Brown's Fan Appreciation Tour has been postponed. Chris looks forward to performing for his fans abroad in the near future and thanks them for their continued support."

The trek was due to begin in Glasgow, Scotland on Wednesday, before stopping in London, Birmingham and Manchester, England as well as Cork and Dublin in Ireland.

CHRIS BROWN PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO 2 FELONIES ON BEATING RIHANNA!

As heard on my entertainment report last nite, Brown plead NOT guilty! TMZ reports that

Rihanna's lawyer just spoke to reporters, as if he is somehow speaking on behalf of the man who allegedly beat his client -- aka Chris Brown. Donald Etra just said Rihanna would be pleased "if it [the case] were over quickly" -- as in plea bargain. Etra was asked what kind of deal would she want -- he said she recognized it wasn't up to her. He acknowledged there were efforts underway to resolve the case -- so he knows.... As we first reported, Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, and the prosecutor are in the throws of plea bargain negotiations and one source says a deal is "close." Rihanna has made it clear -- she does not want to go to court, although Etra says she will cooperate if ordered to do so. If you're wondering why Mark Geragos didn't speak -- we have no doubt prosecutors would be pissed off if he stepped in front of the mic during negotiations ... so its all the more intriguing that Rihanna's lawyer answered all of the questions.

Just days from being arraigned on “making criminal threats” and assault charges, R&B singer Chris Brown is said to be considering a visit to Oprah’s famous couch! Reportedly requested by Rihanna, Brown’s apology comes on the heels of Oprah’s rumored invite issued to Rihanna to come on the show and talk about her relationship with Brown and the alleged altercation Feb. 8. Instead of visiting Oprah herself, Rihanna is rumored to have asked Brown to not only pay a visit to Oprah but apologize to her on the mogul’s couch before the world.

Sources affiliated with Look Magazine say “Rihanna has been talking to Oprah Winfrey on a regular basis since late February when Oprah begged her not to take Chris back. Rihanna's personal tattoo artist BangBang told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview that he and the pop star came to agreement last Thursday on the design and placement of her new handgun tattoo under her ribcage after "a collaboration of ideas."

"She'd been toying with it for a while," the tattoo artist told RadarOnline.com of the handgun design. "[The way it came out,] it looked great, we loved it."

BangBang said that, while original plans called for the tattoo(s) under her shoulder blades, he said he "felt that it took away her face -- and she's very beautiful."

Radio host and former BET personality Free knows first-hand what it's like to be in an abusive relationship.

The fears, the embarrassment, the emotions. As a victim, she's felt them all. And she's hoping to help others Thursday night at 6 by going on a special two-hour edition of BET's "106 & Park" focusing on relationship abuse.

"I was happy they were doing something," said Free, whose given name is Marie Wright. "The timing is questionable. That's just real. But sometimes it takes different things to bring it to the forefront."

CHRIS Brown is said to be through with his manager, whose sexy text-messages supposedly sparked the fight that ended with his alleged beating of Rihanna.

Brown is “looking for a whole new team” to replace his current crew, “starting with his manager, Tina Davis,” said our source.

Davis was cited as the “other woman” who sent texts to Brown the night before the Grammys, causing the fight in the Lamborghini. Police reports stated Brown had a “previous sexual relationship” with Davis, who’s managed him since he was 16. Davis blasted “rumors” of any texts or sex, saying she and Brown were strictly “manager and client.”

But it isn’t just Davis - Brown is said to be “upset with his whole team,” including publicity-loving lawyer Mark Geragos and p.r. man Mike Sitrick.

The insider added: “Chris wanted to apologize [for the alleged beat-down] much earlier . . . and he was upset when the apology was finally released because it sounded so insincere.” Brown’s business attorney, Kenny Meiselas, said, “We are very happy with Chris’ team and there are no changes.”

Meanwhile, don’t believe reports that Rihanna is recording a song with Brown. Our insider says, “She hasn’t seen him since they got back from Miami.” However, “she hasn’t made up her mind yet . . . she’s not completely sure she’s done with him yet.”

Rihanna’s people, including her management and label, are pressuring her to drop him, says the insider. “They want her to stand her ground. My man R&B hitmaker AKON is refusing to turn his back on beleaguered singer CHRIS BROWN, insisting he'd be happy to collaborate with the troubled teen. Rihanna told cops about two fights with Chris Brown that preceded her alleged one in a rented Lamborghini last month. Contrary to some reports, neither episode involved a pounding of the pop princess or injuries, a source close to the situation said. “The first incident was in Europe about three months ago,” the source said, citing Rihanna’s official statements to cops. “It was a verbal dispute. She slapped him, he responded.

He shoved her. There were no witnesses and no injuries.” The second incident, said the source, was in Barbados. “It was a fight over a Range Rover,” the source said. “She says he broke the window. Nobody was injured and it was not reported.” Reports that Brown had “beaten” the stunning songbird in the past are “absolutely inaccurate,” the source said.Brown, 19, was charged with felony assault Thursday and is due for arraignment April 6.The tempestuous couple, meanwhile, has reunited romantically, multiple sources said. “He’s with her, they’re together.

They’re not just seeing each other (platonically),” a source said Monday. An on-again romance could spell trouble for prosecutors, who would have to base their case on other evidence including photos, prior statements and witness accounts. One wildcard could be the crucial 911 call that led cops to Rihanna, 21. The caller told cops he could not identify either party, a source with knowledge of the police report said, and that he heard a female screaming but not screaming for help.

“He stated that the odd thing about the incident was how she was screaming out of control and how he appeared to be extremely calm,” the source said. “And when he exited (the vehicle), it was with a calm demeanor.”
