Black Voices reports that R&B crooner Bobby Valentino has severed ties with Ludacris' Disturbing The Peace label. The pint-sized singer, who has released two albums on DTP in association with Island Def Jam, told the BV Buzz that his split with the Atlanta-bred music imprint was an amicable one. "DTP gave me the opportunity to go out on my own, and I took it. They have played an integral part in my career – and I am thankful for everything they have done and will continue to do as I evolve as an artist," the singer said.
