SHANIA TWAIN TO BE INDUCTED INTO THE CARAS HALL OF FAME.

Country-pop superstar and newlywed Shania Twain will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame during the 2011 Juno Awards in Toronto on March 27.It will mark the first time that the 45-year-old Twain, a 12-time Juno Award winner, has been at the awards show since she was host of the ceremony in Ottawa in 2003.The Timmins, Ont.-raised Twain has sold more than 41 million albums in the U.S. and 4.2 million albums in Canada, making her the top-selling female artist in history. She also has the sixth biggest selling album of all time with 1997’s Come On Over — at 19 million copies sold — and has had 16 Top-10 hits.

Twain’s autobiography hits bookstores this spring, and she is set to debut a docu-series on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, titled Why Not? With Shania Twain.Twain got hitched on New Year’s Day in Puerto Rico to her second husband and Swiss business executive Frederic Thiebaud, after divorcing music producer Robert John “Mutt” Lange, who had had an affair with Thiebaud’s ex-wife.
