Rapper Lil Wayne is reportedly fighting for life at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering a second series of seizures in a week.The hitmaker has been placed in an induced coma, and he has been listed in critical condition.

Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., was initially hospitalised in Los Angeles on Tuesday night after suffering multiple seizures. He was released on Wednesday but taken back to the medical centre hours later after a bodyguard found him lying unconscious in his room.

Weezy is now said to be in INTENSIVE CARE! Please pray for Wayne. He came from nowhere to become what he became. I addressed one issue with him and it was about the codeine cough syrup. I went after Dwayne because of what Pimp C went thru .

As some of you know, this year marks 30 years I began working in a Pharmacy. I was a registered Pharmacist in the US before I retired in 2010. Promethazine with Codeine (Phenergan with Codeine) is what Dwayne reportedly drank and abused.

He even sang about it and it disturbed me because of hypoxia which ultimately killed Pimp C who often drank Tussionex, another powerful narcotic cough syrup. It is a condition that cuts oxygen totally from the brain. These cough syrups are designed for people who actually have bad coughs. When absent, the drugs go to the pleasure centers of the brain, causing euphoria that may be uncontrollable and ultimately turn into seizures!

Wayne cannot leave us now. NEVER! He has 4 kids for several women. The children are doing so well and he has cared for each of them. of family. I am Reginae's friend on Facebook and get access to such great family pictures like these.

His career is in top shape. He is the big name in Young Money who I'm trying to bring to Nigeria. Pls put Wayne and the family in prayers. Meanwhile question have risen on who tweeted on his handle when he was reportedly in the ICU in a coma?

I cannot reach Baby, MackMaine, Drake, Nicki or anyone as a matter of fact and their lips in Drake's camp and even Nicki's camp are sealed! Sarah Cunningham, Young Money's PR lady did admit that Weezy in fact did have a seizure. Kia Selby, Wayne's personal publicist says there were no induced comas as reported by TMZ.

Lil Wayne suffered seizures again this week. Pls pray for his health as this hard working rapper is about to launch a new album. Weezy is badly wanted in Africa now and we are just waiting for the right time to bring Young Money here.

Sources close to the rapper tell us, Wayne suffered the seizures Tuesday night after shooting a music video in L.A. and was subsequently taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital. Weezy was released several hours later, early Wednesday morning. We're told he's doing much better now.

It's not the rapper's first encounter with seizures either -- TMZ broke the story ... Wayne suffered two seizures on board separate airplanes last October.

Lil Wayne later acknowledged he'd been prescribed seizure medication by his doc.

Weezy's rep declined to comment.

L'IL WAYNE NEWS: MR OFFICER GETS SUSPENDED!

An officer at Rikers Island has been suspended from duty for spending too much time in Lil Wayne’s jail cell. According to New York’s Daily News, Captain Raphael Collazzo spent 45-minutes with Weezy F Baby who is in solitary confinement for having a mp3 charger and headphones.

A source told the Daily News, “We don’t know what he was doing. We know the [security] camera picked him up. The president of the union for corrections captains, Patrick Ferraiuolo, spoke to Collazzo who told him, ‘I have done nothing wrong…I don’t have any dealings with [Lil Wayne].”

The rapper is set to be released on November 4, after serving eight-months of a year-long sentence for a gun possession.

Well at least it wasn't a female officer? Next thing you know a baby will be on the way with MRS OFFICER!

So what's this I hear from internal snitches @ Canadian immigration that the entire Young Money clan cannot perform in Canada? Drake was spotted above at Vancouver airport for a sold out show. The guys above with the LV backpacks are his band members I met at the JUNOS. He was here in Toronto on Sunday for the OVO fest (October's Very Own) which signifies what month he was born in. True, immigration bans people with criminal records from coming into Canada especially serious ones like GUNS and DRUGS.

I am being told that Drake is lucky to be a native Canadian and that Nicki Minaj, L'il Wayne and some others in the group are actually banned FOR LIFE here as of now. Mmmm... No comment. I know Weezy has a lot of gun charges after leaving here Jan 2009 at that concert at the ACC and who knows when T.I will get back in.

L'IL WAYNE'S ALBUM "I M NOT A HUMAN BEING" TO BE RELEASED FROM JAIL!

Lil Wayne is set to release a new album in September – despite being incarcerated for gun crime.

The rapper's co-manager Cortez Bryant told Vibe magazine that the album would be named I'm Not A Human Being and will be out digitally on September 27 – Wayne's birthday.

"We not about to roll out no three month set-up," he said. "I'm not even putting it out in stores. We just going to put it out virally and maybe package it up for Christmas. Give 'em a hard copy later for fan appreciation."

Bryant said the album would be a prelude to the rapper's forthcoming Tha Carter IV album.

Lil Wayne began a year-long jail sentence in New York for gun crime in March.

WEEZY IS NOW INCARCERATED ON GUN CHARGES WHILE T.I IS GONNA BE FREE IN 16 DAYS.

Lil Wayne has begun his one-year prison sentence today (March 8) for gun crimes.

Originally due to start his sentence last month, Wayne's incarceration was postponed initially so he could have emergency dental surgery, then delayed because of a courthouse fire.

The rapper, real name Dwayne Carter, is serving the jail-term stemming from an incident in 2007 in New York, where police officers found a handgun on his tourbus.

Lil Wayne said little in the courtroom, reports the New York Post. Asked by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Charles Solomon if he wanted to speak, the rapper simply shook his head and said "No". He has now been taken to New York's main jail complex, Rikers Island, where he will serve his year-long sentence (though he could be let out after eight months for good behaviour).

The rapper's lawyer Stacey Richman said he plans to continue making music in jail.

Nobody has died but my heart goes out to the lovely Toya, Reginae and all his sons. The message is clear, lets do it for the kids, leave the guns alone!

NEW YORK - Rap star Lil Wayne has left fans and fellow artists with a video blitz as he braces for as much as a year behind bars at the height of his career.

The rapper was expected to begin his New York City jail term Tuesday after pleading guilty in October in a 2007 gun case.

"He's been approaching this as professionally as he does everything else," his lawyer, Stacey Richman, said Monday.

The multiplatinum-selling rapper, one of the genre's biggest names in recent years, certainly has been preparing for a professional absence. He said in a video clip sent Monday to MTV News that he shot footage for seven music videos with various artists in one night this weekend.

Lil Wayne, 27, pleaded guilty in October to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. He admitted having a loaded gun on his tour bus when it was stopped in Manhattan in July 2007.

His plea deal calls for him to serve his sentence in city jails, rather than state prison. Officials have declined to discuss where he'll be held among the roughly 13,000 inmates in the city's jails.

Lil Wayne was initially due to be sentenced and start his term last month, but the date was pushed back so he could have surgery on his gem-encrusted teeth.

With good behaviour, he could end up spending only about eight months behind bars.

Born Dwayne Carter, he has been a rapper since his teens and one of the genre's most prolific, ubiquitous and profitable figures in recent years. His "Tha Carter III" was the best-selling album of 2008.

His latest album, "Rebirth," was released this month.

WEEZY'S SENTENCING POSTPONED FOR DENTAL APPOINTMENT?

A Manhattan judge granted a request Tuesday by the rapper known as Lil Wayne to adjourn his jail sentence so some dental work can be done.

Dwayne Carter, as he is known legally, was scheduled Tuesday to be sentenced to a year in prison on gun charges by Supreme Court Judge Charles Solomon.

In the surprise request, Wayne's attorney, Stacey Richman, asked the judge to push back the Grammy award winner's sentencing so he could take care of a dental-related issue, and travel to Florida to do so.

Solomon granted the adjournment and moved the hip-hop star's sentencing to March 2.

The best dentists are actually in the jails!

RAPPER L'IL WAYNE DETAINED BY TEXAS AUTHORITIES AFTER MARIJUANA IS FOUND ON TOUR BUS....AGAIN?

Rapper Lil Wayne was detained by U.S. Border Patrol agents in Texas on Friday after authorities found marijuana on two of his tour buses.

The marijuana on the buses was detected by drug dogs, said Agent Joe Trevino. The rapper, whose real name is DeWayne Michael Carter, Jr., was among a dozen being detained from his group.

Trevino said the buses were en route to Laredo, Texas, from a concert stop in Hidalgo state.

Calls to Carter's representatives were not immediately returned Friday.

The Louisiana native was the 2008 best-selling artist, with 2.8 million records sold, and is signed to Cash Money Records.

The rapper is scheduled to begin a prison sentence in February stemming from gun charges in New York.

NIVEA GIVES BIRTH TO BABY FOR L'IL WAYNE.

Although time is catching up to rapper Lil Wayne as he awaits time behind bars, he has one more thing to smile about as reports state that his son was born today (November 30). His partner in crime Mack Mane and Young Money Capo Tweeted,

"Thank god. Baby Neal was born healthy to Nivea Nash and Dwayne Carter!!! Thank 4 all the blessings n support!!!! Love ya heard me!!"

Being Weezy's 2^nd child of 2009, with the first from actress Lauren London in September, the rapper was able to rekindle the flame between himself and singer Nivea, even if for a short while.

Wayne is starting to build himself quite a family tree as this will be his fourth child. His one daughter, 10-year-old Reginae, is known for her pop up appearance during Wayne and Drake's set for “Every Girl” as well as being alongside her mother Toya Carter on the reality show Tiny & Toya.

Nivea is welcoming her fourth child as well as she had three children prior from her relationship with singer/producer The Dream.
