SIMON COWELL GETS LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD.

Music mogul SIMON COWELL was honoured at the National TV Awards in London on Wednesday (29Oct08) night with a lifetime achievement prize. The American Idol judge was presented with the accolade by theatre impresario Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber during the ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall.

Cowell has amassed a multi-million dollar personal fortune from the success of his music publishing and TV production company Syco, which is behind TV hits such as American Idol, America's Got Talent and The X Factor.
