50 CENT TO REMAKE FRENCH FILM.

Rap mogul 50 CENT is set to trade in his mic and return to the big screen alongside actors MICKEY ROURKE and JASON STATHAM in a remake of award-winning French film 13 TZAMETI. The In Da Club hitmaker - real name Curtis Jackson - has been cast to alongside the pair in the English-language remake of the 2006 thriller.

The movie - which won the 2006 Sundance Film Festival's Grand Jury Prize tells the story of a man who steals a mysterious package that promises to pay out a fortune. The project is reportedly scheduled to begin shooting on 17 November (08) in and around New York City. Jackson made his film debut with 2005's Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
