Rap superstar JAY-Z will play another free concert to rally support for U.S. presidential candidate BARACK OBAMA in the run up to the election. The Big Pimpin' star has already backed Obama's White House campaign by playing a free gig in Detroit, Michigan earlier this month (Oct08). A second date, scheduled for 5 October in Miami, Florida, had to be scrapped after the rapper suffered a throat illness.
But he is to give the Democrat's ticket one last push with a show in Cleveland next Wednesday (29Oct08). The event will be hosted by basketball star
LeBron James.
No word yet if that gig will be canned since Obama is down in Hawaii taking care of his grandma.
