After a weekend of prayers and concern for Raz B, he is reportedly doing well, but did not have to endure a coma, says his manager Elayne Rivers. I am now hearing that he whole thing was a hoax that someone in his team made up as well as the recovery part. how did this even happen? Even Ricky, Raz B's brother was given this false info and he helped spread it for prayers. He apologized as well. I won't call his a PR stunt but it worked. I an still waiting for his first tweet since the incident. Another reason one has to be careful aggregating news and I always quote what TMZ reported. Read the story below from BET

"The comments about Raz being in a coma did not come from his official representative," Rivers told CNN. News circulated that the B2K co-founder became comatose after a minor surgery for a busted lip that he got when attempting to break up a fight at one of his shows in China. Within days he reportedly recovered.

CNN identified Toy Jones as the person who originally sent the coma and recovery story to the media. She told CNN that she was hired by the family and believed it to be true.

His brother, who goes by the name Ricky Romance, apologized for helping to spread the false story. "I was unfortunately unable to contact my brother at the time [the news broke], and then panicked," Romance told CNN. "I then alerted as many people of this information hoping to gather facts ... Since the source that gave me this information was what I thought to be legitimately reliable I didn't question, I just believed. I apologize if I seem like I jumped to conclusions, but a coma is a serious situation and it was concerning my brother, whom is my best friend as well. I sincerely apologize for the confusion I caused if that is the case."

Earlier this year, Raz B signed with a Dutch label, Kameleon Music Group, and is recording a full-length album, his first since his 2007 solo debut, FIRE.

Raz B was trying to break up a fight at a niteclub where I hear he performed and received minor medical attention for a gashed lip after being smashed in the face with a bottle. Next thing you know he did not wake up and has been slipping in and out of consciousness.

He is now on LIFE SUPPORT BREATHING THRU A VENTILATOR and I urge everyone of you to put him in your prayers. The former B2K singer was embroiled in that Chris Stokes controversy back in 2004 with the rest of the group members Lil Fizz and J-Boog.

I looked on Omarion's page and I see no mention of Raz B's situation. Everyone is tight lipped. Nothing wrong in sending some prayers at a difficult time. The story is still developing.

She returned to the clinic several times during 2010 due to complications following the procedure, as well as checking in after injuring herself in a drunken fall.Now Winehouse is back under doctors' care after picking up a bug following her recent gigs in Brazil.

BRETT MICHAELS TO BE BACK ON HIS FEET WITHIN WEEKS.

POISON frontman BRET MICHAELS will be ready to rock "within weeks", according to the surgeon who carried out heart surgery on the star. The singer underwent an operation to repair a hole in his heart on Monday (24Jan11), months after doctors discovered the defect as they treated him for a near-fatal brain haemorrhage last year (10). The surgery at a hospital in Phoenix, Arizona has been hailed a success and Michaels was discharged on Wednesday (26Jan11) to continue his recovery at home.

Dr. Mansour Assar, who carried out the operation, has now reassured fans the procedure went well and the star will be back on his feet very soon. He says in a statement, "Bret's procedure had excellent results. Because of the successful outcome and Bret's determination, I believe he will be able to return to normal activity within weeks."

Rocker BRET MICHAELS' neurosurgeon has reacted strongly to internet reports suggesting the POISON star faked the seriousness of his recent brain haemorrhage and stroke, insisting the health crises were deadly serious. Dr. Joseph Zabramski, who saved Michael's life in May (10), has responded to reports the emergencies were part of a publicity stunt with an angry message posted on his patient's MySpace.com page. Calling the rumours "erroneous, false and irresponsible", Dr. Zabramski rages, "The fact is, the subarachnoid hemorrhage (sic) that Mr. Michaels suffered was very real, and very serious, as was the T.I.A (warning stroke) and P.F.O., which will be operated on later this year.

"A subarachnoid hemorrhage is a life-threatening, neurosurgical emergency that requires an extensive work-up and management in the ICU to prevent re-bleeding and manage the complications associated with the initial he morrhage. For anyone to speculate that this was not a life-threatening medical emergency is absolutely incorrect. "Between 15 and 20 per cent of patients die as a result of the initial hemorrhage, and only approximately 50 per cent of those that survive have a good outcome. LADY GAGA HAS LUPUS AND TELLS FANS NOT TO WORRY!

Lady Gaga had fans gasping after she collapsed on stage in March in New Zealand during her "The Fame Monster" tour, but the singer - who reveled she was recently tested for lupus - wants her devoted little monsters not to worry about her health. "I have heart palpitations and... things," Gaga recently told The Times of London. "But, it's OK. It's just from fatigue and other things."

The eccentric singer told the paper that her family has a history with lupus - a disease which causes the immune system to attack the body.

"I'm very connected to my aunt, Joanne, who died of lupus. It's a very personal thing. I don't want my fans to be worried about me," she explained, saying that she had been tested for the disease that can be genetic. "But I don't want anyone to be worried."

The singer also told the paper that she experienced a slight health scare recently while in Tokyo.

"I was having trouble breathing," she said. "I had a little oxygen, then I went on stage. I was OK. But like I say, I don't want anyone to worry."

OMG, after all the deaths this week and last and with Devon's brain hemmorage collapse last week, now comes word that Brett Michaels who also has a reality show career (Celebrity Apprentice) is in critical condition suffering from a brain haemorrhage, his publicist said.

Joann Mignano confirmed a report on a website that said the former Poison frontman was rushed to intensive care on Thursday after suffering a severe headache. The report said doctors discovered bleeding at the base of his brain stem.

Mignano said tests are being conducted and that no further information was available.

The 47-year-old reality TV star had an emergency appendectomy last week after complaining of stomach pains.

He said on his website that the surgery "has taken its toll" but doctors expected him to make a full recovery.

Michaels starred on the VH1 dating show Rock of Love and is a contestant on Donald Trump's NBC reality show, The Celebrity Apprentice.

Trump said in a statement he was "deeply saddened" to hear of Michaels' condition.

"He's a great competitor and champion, and I hope he will be fine," Trump said.

BREAKING NEWS: RIVERS CUOMO OF WEEZER HURT IN BUS CRASH!

The lead singer of the rock band Weezer was involved in a bus accident Sunday that left him and another passenger in an upstate New York hospital.

Rivers Cuomo, 40, complained of rib pain and was transferred, along with one other passenger, to St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, New York.

Cuomo's wife, daughter, and a fifth passenger on the bus were uninjured. The bus was traveling from Toronto, Ontario, to Boston, Massachusetts, for a show Monday night at the Agganis Arena at Boston University.

The accident occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m. Sunday, while the bus was traveling eastbound on the New York State Thruway near the city of Amsterdam, according to Sgt. Brian Dollard with the New York State Police.

The driver said the back end of the bus slid on ice, then went into the median and hit some reflective posts before crossing back over the highway, going over the guardrail and landing in a ditch.

It had snowed about two inches overnight, police said. The roads were generally wet Sunday morning, but not covered in snow, Dollard said.

Police said they do not suspect drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.

The vehicle is a 2009 Prevost tour bus registered to Night Train Coach Inc., out of Tennessee.

Update: 12/8/09 Weezer has cancelled the rest of its December tour after the lead singer was injured in a bus crash in New York.

Rivers Cuomo and band assistant Sarah Kim suffered minor injuries when the group's tour bus skidded on ice, struck a guide rail and slid into a ditch Sunday morning.

Cuomo and Kim were hospitalized after the accident in the upstate New York town of Glen. That's about 64 kilometres west of Albany. They were travelling from Toronto to a show in Boston.

Cuomo's condition isn't clear.

A message on the band's website says Weezer is cancelling the rest of its Raditude tour and will try to reschedule those dates.

Calls and emails to publicist Jim Merlis weren't immediately returned Monday.

Twisted Sister guitarist Eddie Ojeda is recuperating from emergency back surgery that forced him to miss the band's concert near Philadelphia.

Ojeda experienced intense pain that prevented him from standing or sitting, went to a hospital and had surgery to repair a ruptured disc, according to bandmate Jay Jay French. Dan McCafferty, who played guitar in singer Dee Snider's solo band, was pressed into duty as a last-minute replacement at the Keswick Theater on Wednesday night. More here....
