Williz is a young inspirational recording artist from Toronto, Canada who brings a fresh, new sound to the urban scene. This talented Ricmond Hill rapper is receiving positive feedback and support from people from various levels in the recording industry, from promoters to artists, and engineers to producers. Williz has just finished recording his debut single "All On You", produced by well known Toronto producer and rapper Fin-S of GrindHouse Entertainment . The cool beat was provided by J-Rum from Florida. "All On You" is being submitted to radio stations such as Flow93.5, Z103.5, Kiss92.5 + many more.
Williz, an only child, was born in 1983, and raised in a home filled with music ranging from country to rock. When rap and hiphop was introduced to Canada in the mid eighties, this genre was the only music he heard at home. From that moment, his parents could only watch and listen as his interests were changing. His life was clearly heading on a path of music at a very early age. Gradually, he went from listening to creating! He writes his own lyrics, with the exception of a few collaborations.
In his early teens, Williz even performed on the steps of Silver City Theatre in Richmond Hill on busy Friday and Saturday nights to a growing fan base. As years passed, he formed a group with a few local rappers, and released underground records throughout the neighbourhood, performinging at such venues as, Opera House, Reverb, and Local Community Centres. The group broke up a few years later with members pursuing different careers. Williz stayed true to his dream, continuing on his God given path. Today, Williz has performed at various venues such as, The Fox and the Fiddle, World Class Ladies Fashion Show at Pasha Lounge (Downtown, Toronto), UberHaus, The Vue, and On The Rox.
Williz is a new, rising star in the industry, offering a fresh and unique voice with a healthy pinch of sexy raspiness, and a good sprinkle of attitude. Just what the masses want!
