There have been several calls for Nigeria to take very tough economic decisions like increasing the Value Added Tax, removal of fuel subsidy, devaluation of the Naira and reduction in the cost of governance. The IMF Managing Director, Christine Lagarde, also echoed the same. Are all of the these measures not putting more burden on the poor than the rich?
