Justin Bieber is adding movie star to his resume.

Paramount Pictures, MTV Films and Bieber's record label, Island Def Jam, say the 16-year-old pop star has signed on to appear in a feature film about his life and career.

The yet-to-be-titled movie is set for release on "Valentine's weekend" of 2011, the companies said Tuesday.

Bieber will also be producing the film, along with mentor Usher, manager Scooter Braun and Island Def Jam Music Group chairman LA Reid.

The movie will offer a "VIP backstage pass" into Bieber's life and will feature 3-D footage from his "My World 2.0" concert tour.

The ubiquitous teen sensation is also bringing his life to readers: HarperCollins announced Monday that it will publish his memoir in October.

FAT JOE: I'M NOT BROKE!!

FAT JOE has laughed off speculation he is in financial difficulty after putting his multi-million dollar home on the market - insisting he's only selling up because his wife wants to move house.
The rapper, real name Joseph Cartagena, recently listed his $2 million mansion in Miami, Florida, and online gossips were qu ick to speculate the star had run out of cash. But Joe is adamant he doesn't need to sell the property - he is simply moving so his wife can be "closer to the beach".

He tells Allhiphop.com, "I'm selling my mansion, and I got a crib (house) like everyone else in the world. I'm selling my home like everyone else in the world. Yeah, you know my wife she wants to move back towards the beach, we (moved) out a little west in the suburbs so you know... a man just trying to live, just trying to survive, man."

Superstars JAY-Z and BEYONCE KNOWLES have topped a new poll as Hollywood's richest couple - with combined earnings for 2008 of $162 million. The Crazy In Love stars, who wed in April (08), have amassed a fortune in the year from 1 June 2007 to 2008. Rapper Jay-Z earned $82 million from his recent $150 million 10-year deal with concert promoter Live Nation, while wife Knowles has brought in $80 million from her various ventures in fashion, film and music.

Their 2008 fortune sets them far apart from Hollywood's other power couples Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are in second place in the Forbes magazine poll with $85 million, while Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie could only manage fifth place with $34 million.

CANADIAN FAN PAYS $25,000 TO ROADIE FOR THE WHO!

A Canadian rock fan has won the chance to join THE WHO's road crew for a day after landing the winning bid at an online auction. The unnamed man paid $25,100 (GBP13,568) for the opportunity as the eBay Giving Works/Auction Cause sale ended on Sunday (24Aug08). The proceeds from the auction will benefit California charity K9 Connection, which brings teenagers and homeless dogs together. The students train the strays with a view to getting the dogs adopted by a loving family.

NO MORE HALF DOLLAR: 50 is about to sign $300 million deal with Rupert Murdoch!

Rap superstar 50 CENT is on the verge of signing a new branding deal with media mogul RUPERT MURDOCH's company - worth a cool $300 million. Jay-Z's $120 mil with Live Nation can't even touch this! His people say I'll get some of that cheese if I stop calling him "Half Dollar." Okay, deal! But they love the site and I need him to sponsor this site too. The In Da Club hitmaker is in final negotiations with Murdoch's News Corp firm - which owns social networking site MySpace - for a large stake in all aspects of the 50 Cent brand, including music, concerts, books and his label G-Unit Records. If the agreement goes ahead, G-Unit Records and its roster of artists will move under News Corp's MySpace Records umbrella.

According to reports, half of the $300 million deal will be in stock, potentially making 50 Cent - real name Curtis Jackson - one of the biggest News Corp shareholders. However, the deal is not expected to be finalised until next year 2009 allowing the star to fulfil all of his contractual obligations with his current label, Interscope Records. Now maybe Marquise (above) can own his own HOUSE! That's why I got mad at Curtis calling him Half Dollar....
