With such strict gun laws, it is expected that Wayne will receive a year in prison for his actions, with L’il Wayne also still still facing felony drug possession and weapons charges in Arizona. L’il Wayne was arrested on July 22, 2007 after being pulled over by police on his tour bus due to a detected odor of marijuana - with police then finding a gun in his duffel bag. HE WAS FACING 20 YEARS IF HE TOOK THE OTHER ROUTE. Now the Grammy award winning super-rapper will now join the ranks of others like T.I, L'il Kim, Foxy Brown, Da Brat, Remy Ma, Shyne, L'il Boosie (who just got slapped with 2 years) all mostly with gun charges.
