The president of Malawi, Joyce Banda, has dissolved her cabinet after officials in her government were accused of misappropriating state funds. The president's office said she will announce a new cabinet in due course. No further details were given. Joyce Banda came to power in April last year.
Three weeks ago she repeated a pledge to fight corruption, after the budget director at the ministry of finance Paul Mphwiyo was attacked by unknown gunmen. Iron Lady baby! These are the women I look up to. She just did a similar thing my Governor here in Oyo state Nigeria did. There are members of the cabinet stealing and trying to ruin the government.
