R&B superstar Janet Jackson has found love with a wealthy businessman from Qatar, according to reports. The Nasty hitmaker split from her longtime boyfriend, producer Jermaine Dupri, last summer (09) after seven years of dating. But Jackson, 43, has now moved on and started a romance with 35-year-old industrialist Wissam Al Mana, reports news show The Insider.

Janet Jackson has teamed up with her brother Michael from beyond the grave to record a new track for her upcoming greatest hits compilation. The siblings duetted on hit dance track Scream, which also appears on the new Number Ones album, but few fans knew the pair had collaborated on another tune, titled Make Me, which will close the two-CD set. Very little is known about the new track, apart from the fact it was recorded last year (08). Jackson's new hits package will be released in November (09).

The R&B superstar confirmed she had parted ways with Dupri in a recent interview with America's Harper's Bazaar magazine, adding that she has not been on a date since their split. R&B superstar JANET JACKSON is taking her Rock Witchu tour to Japan - after scrapping a string of U.S. shows last month (Oct08) as a result of illness and scheduling conflicts.

The Nasty singer was forced to postpone a number of shows on the North American leg of her roadshow after falling ill with a vertigo-related condition.

However, the seven rescheduled dates were then scrapped altogether due to "conflicts in the singer's schedule" - amid rumours of poor ticket sales. But now Jackson is preparing to hit the road once more for her first tour of Japan in six years (02). She will perform four dates in the country between 14 to 22 February (08), according to website JapanToday.com.

JANET JACKSON GETTING READY FOR MOTHERHOOD.

JANET JACKSON has offered another major hint about motherhood in a new magazine interview. The sexy 42-year-old admits she's just waiting for the right time to become a first-time mum - and boyfriend Jermaine Dupri can't wait to father her child. She tells Sister 2 Sister magazine,

"At some point it's coming. When? I have no idea. He (Dupri) has been past ready. He's just waiting for me; I'm the one holding up the whole thing. "Everyone tells me that there will never be a good time, that I will always be busy, but I just think when the stars are aligned it will happen."

Internet reports suggest Jackson may already be pregnant - after she pulled the plug on a string of concerts she rescheduled after falling ill with vertigo at the beginning of October (08).

AFTER COMEBACK, JANET JACKSON CANCELS YET ANOTHER TOUR STOP!

JANET JACKSON has cancelled a concert in Connecticut altogether, just weeks after postponing it because of illness. The Nasty hitmaker was forced to cancel a string of shows at the start of October (08) after suffering from a bout of vertigo, but she returned to the stage on 15 October (08) and resumed the remaining dates on her Rock Witchu tour.

But she has now scrapped the Connecticut gig completely amidst reports of poor ticket sales. A statement released by concert venue bosses at Mohegan Sun Arena reads: "Mohegan Sun regrets to announce that the concert featuring Janet Jackson has been officially cancelled . There will not be a rescheduled date." Fans have been advised to return to their point of sale to get a refund.

JACKSON DROPS RAUNCHY ROUTINE.

JANET JACKSON pulled a raunchy dance routine from her concert in Michigan - to avoid falling foul of local obscenity laws. The singer has a segment in her Rock Witchu tour in which she invites a male member of the audience on stage, ties him down, and pretends to grope him as her dancers cavort around stroking themselves.

But she dropped the routine from her show at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit on Tuesday (28Oct08) - because strict state laws prohibit simulating sex acts during a public performance.
A spokesman for the venue says, "We explained the law, asked her not to do it, she complied. We did not ask her to cut the song. That was her call." The concert had originally been scheduled for 27 September (08) but the singer postponed it when she was struck down with vertigo.

Jackson's manager Kenneth Crear explained: "Janet did not want to disappoint her Detroit-area fans again, so we adhered to Michigan's state ordinance and trimmed the Discipline segment of the show so it would not be cancelled."

JANET JACKSON has gone online to thanks fans for supporting her through her recent illness. A bout of vertigo forced the star to cancel a string of shows earlier this month (Oct08) and she returned to the stage last week (15Oct08).

Now, fully recovered, Jackson has posted a video message to fans on YouTube.com.
In it, the Nasty hitmaker says, "I want to thank you for all your messages and all your love and support when I wasn't feeling very well. I'm a lot better now." She also uses the video, shot by boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, to dismiss reports the two have split.

Dupri states, "Baby, they say you broke up with me because I threw up on you," to which Jackson snorts, "How lame is that?"

The AP reports that the doctor has again ordered Janet Jackson to postpone a return to her "Rock Witchu" tour. Jackson was scheduled to resume her tour last night night at the Turning Stone Resort in New York after cancelling a show over the weekend in Connecticut.

A message posted on the resort and casino's website stated the show had been cancelled at the advice of Jackson's doctor. She has since postponed several shows, including Thursday night's show at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Promoters say the dates will be rescheduled. No one is saying what is ailing Jackson, who was rushed to a hospital in Montreal before a concert in late September. As I reported last month, strong sources tell me she is pregnant and is going thru a heavy bout of morning sickness......Meanwhile, Atlanta's V103FM officially announced that the tour's over. That Toronto gig was the last stop! What luck!

The singer, 42, suffers from vestibular migraine, a rare condition that induces the sensation of vertigo, her manager, Kenneth Crear, said in a statement

LATEST: JANET JACKSON has been released from a Montreal, Canada hospital after she was admitted to the emergency room with a mystery illness on Monday (29Sep08). The R&B superstar was rushed to the Royal Victoria Hospital on Monday night, shortly before she was due to take to the stage for her latest stop on her Rock Witchu tour. The Nasty singer "got suddenly ill" during a sound check and was taken to seek medical attention. But she was discharged after a brief consultation.

Rebecca Burns, spokeswoman for the McGill University Health Centre, which operates the hospital, says, "Yesterday evening she was checked into the Royal Victoria Hospital and left a couple of hours later." The show in Montreal had to be postponed, with her representative blaming the cancellation on "production constraints".

Further details of the star's health problems have yet to be released, although sources close to the 42 year old's boyfriend, music producer Jermaine Dupri, claim she has been suffering from exhaustion. The insider tells People.com, "A 42-year-old body can't handle what a 22-year-old body can. I can tell you that she's definitely tired.

It was probably exhaustion. She is doing back-to-back, three-hour shows, and her body isn't the same as it used to be." Jackson's Rock Witchu tour is her first in seven years. She is due to perform in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday night (01Oct08), but it is unknown as yet whether the show will go ahead as planned.

UPDATE ON BREAKING NEWS WITH JANET JACKSON'S EMERGENCY HOSPITALIZATION IN CANADA.

As you know I have been trying to update this story all morning. It has been crazy! She was here in Toronto Sunday night and then headed off to Montreal. Janet"got suddenly ill during the sound check" before her concert in Montreal and had to be rushed to the hospital, according to a statement released by W&W Public Relations owned by Patti Webster.

She is being monitored at the hospital, and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about Jackson's condition. On the Toronto Sunday night concert, I will review that show later. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

JANET JACKSON HAS LEFT ISLAND DEF JAM!

According to a recent interview above with Rodney “Darkchild” Jenkins, Janet Jackson has asked for, and has received, a release from Island Def Jam Music Group. In a statement, Jenkins says.....

"We didn’t get the support from the record company. Janet felt like it wasn’t pushed. I felt like it wasn’t pushed correctly. She just didn’t get her just due as an artist of that magnitude.
