WHITNEY HOUSTON SUED BY HER STEPMOTHER!!

WHITNEY HOUSTON's stepmother is lining up a court battle with the pop superstar over money she claims she's owed from her late husband's will. The singer was made a beneficiary to her dad's estate when John Houston died in 2003 at the age of 82 - but Barbara Houston alleges she is entitled to a share of her late husband's estate - and she never received it.

In a lawsuit filed in May (08), Barbara alleges her stepdaughter was instructed to use John Houston's $1 million life insurance policy to pay off the mortgage on his apartment and hand over the title to the property and any remaining funds. In the court papers, obtained by TMZ.com, Barbara insists she has not received a cent from the star. Whitney has denied all the claims.

Step mother? I know that Whitney was not speaking to her dad till the end but I thought Cissy and John were together. Mmmm.....See how much you learn way too late.

ROD STEWART's wild child son SEAN STEWART once beat himself up for drugs. The reforming hellraiser admits he was so hooked on painkillers he went to extremes to get a ready supply of pills. Now attempting to clean up his act on U.S. reality show Celebrity Rehab, Stewart has revealed just how desperate his habit became before he sought help.

He says, "This is really embarrassing; I beat myself up to go to the hospital so I could get Vicodin. "I just started punching myself and hitting my face against the wall."

Meanwhile the case against Rod Stewart's son over a brawl at a Hollywood nightclub has been resolved The AP is reporting that Seal Bral, an attorney for the man who sued Sean Stewart in 2007, says the parties reached a settlement after undergoing private mediation. A Los Angeles court dismissed the case on Tuesday.

Daniel Refoua sued Stewart over a fight at a nightclub in 2006 he says left him with a broken nose and other injuries. The case had been scheduled to go to trial in January, although Stewart's attorneys had been seeking a dismissal. An attorney for Stewart did not return a phone message Thursday.

Stewart appeared in the A&E show "Sons of Hollywood" and is also one of the patients featured on this season's "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" on VH1.

Sheer madness. Need we say more about what drugs can do to you?

DAMON ALBARN has confirmed the members of BLUR are heading back to the recording studio in 2009 - to see if they can salvage their relationship. The Britpop band spiralled downwards after guitarist Graham Coxon quit during the recording of the album Think Tank, but both he and Albarn have hinted at a possible reunion in recent months.

Although the group hasn't officially split, they haven't performed or recorded together as Blur since 2003. And now frontman Albarn reveals there are plans to get back together early in the New Year. He says, "Blur are certainly going to rehearse and see if we're into it."

JONAS BROTHERS THANK FANS WITH STAR-STUDDED LAST-MINUTE GIG .

The JONAS BROTHERS treated fans to a last-minute post-American Music Awards concert in Hollywood on Sunday night (23Nov08), which they booked just the day before. Just hours after the trio claimed the AMA's Favourite Breakthrough Artist award in Los Angeles, the Jonases took to the stage at the House of Blues on Sunset Strip to perform a free three-hour show, packed with guests and celebrities.

According to Eonline.com, the Jonas Brothers only promoted the concert on their MySpace.com page and in pre-AMA radio interviews on Saturday (22Nov08), but the fans heard all about it and started lining up outside the venue even before the start of the awards show across town.
The trio performed a string of hits and covered John Mayer's Gravity, Tom Petty's Freefallin' and Bob Marley's Waiting in Vain, as well as Kanye West's Heartless.

Their Camp Rock co-star Demi Lovato joined them onstage to perform Mayer's Daughters with her pals and Jordin Sparks was a highlight when she stepped out to perform Stevie Wonder's Superstition with the boys. Jesse McCartney also joined in the fun, as did Blues Brothers star Dan Aykroyd, who teamed up with the brothers for a cover of Bo Diddley's hit Who Do You Love? The impromptu show ended with a version of the Beatles' Hey Jude, performed by the Jonas Brothers and all their guests.

These kids cease to amaze me! Good job boys!

KELLY ROWLAND WANTS TO GET MARRIED!

KELLY ROWLAND longs to get married after fighting back tears at former bandmate BEYONCE KNOWLES' top secret wedding earlier this year (Apr08). Rowland, who shot to fame in Destiny's Child alongside Knowles, was a guest when Knowles wed rapper Jay-Z in New York, and the singer, who broke off her engagement to American footballer Roy Williams in 2005, is now looking for a man to marry.

The Survivor singer admits she had been put off the idea of marriage but witnessing her best pal's big day has made her realise she wants to follow suit. She says, "Seeing Beyonce get married to Jay-Z did make me want to tie the knot, but I'm not ready yet." The single singer, 27, may have a long wait on her hands, because her work commitments keep getting in the way of love. She adds, "I'm just working. I was dumped in my last relationship because I was working so much - another one bites the dust."

What happened to the cute white guy?

NICE!: SPEARS HONOURED IN GERMANY FOR 'STUNNING COMEBACK'

BRITNEY SPEARS' long awaited comeback has landed her a new award for her mantelpiece - organisers of a German media event will honour her return to music this month (Nov08). The singer, 26, has been named as the recipient of the Bambi award for Best International Pop Star - an annual television and media prize awarded by the Hubert Burda Media Group. Event organisers have hailed Spears as an inspiration after she bounced back following a tumultuous last 12 months - which has seen her lose custody of her kids to ex-husband Kevin Federline, shave off all her hair, and endure two stints in hospital.

The Toxic hitmaker will collect her award at the ceremony on Thursday (27Nov08), when she will also perform. Event host Hubert Burda says, "Britney Spears is back. Radiant and better than ever, the erstwhile teenie (sic) idol has reclaimed her throne." Another official adds, "Her stunning comeback from an absolute low point impressed all of us." Spears' new album Circus is scheduled for release on 2 December (08) - to mark her 27th birthday.

Hold it! That means Britney is not gonna spend American Thanksgiving with the boys. O well, we saw the Paparazzi frenzy at the airport the other day. Doesn't she have to perform on Simon's British show the "X factor too?"

Some of the biggest names in music are contributing exclusive songs to RED(WIRE), a digital music magazine that launches on World AIDS Day (December 1).

U2, Coldplay, the Killers, the Dixie Chicks, John Legend, R.E.M. and Bob Dylan are on board for the initiative, which is an outgrowth of the Bono-reared activist organization called (RED). All proceeds from subscriptions will benefit HIV-infected people in Africa; MSN.com will host a kickoff party December 1.

For $5, users will receive a new issue of RED(WIRE) every Wednesday, featuring an exclusive song from a major musician, a song from a performer who (RED) aims to showcase, a multimedia piece that could encompass video or photography and a look at how proceeds are benefiting Africans in need. The materials will be downloaded to a custom player and automatically loaded into iTunes.

Users can send two free issues to friends, and will be rewarded if they join RED(WIRE).

"Artists are already saying, 'I want to give you a track for those people who brought friends in,'" (RED)WIRE founder Don MacKinnon told Billboard.com. "That's the biggest idea: using social networking to actually change the world in a unique way."

REPUBLICAN KID ROCK WILL BACK OBAMA'S PRESIDENCY.

Republican supporter KID ROCK has voiced his backing for U.S. President-elect BARACK OBAMA declaring the Democrat's election win as "a great thing for black people". The All Summer Long rocker, who had previously pledged his allegiance to President George W. Bush, insists he is happy to see Obama make history as the first African-American to become the head of state.

And he hopes the Illinois senator's victory at the polls earlier this month (Nov08) will change the world's view of America as a "racist" nation. The Michigan-born singer says, "I'm patriotic so I'm just happy the people's voice has been heard. I will support him until I have reason not to. "It's a great thing for black people. Black people were kind to me growing up and taught me hip-hop and the blues, so it's good the U.S. has proved it's not as racist as it's sometimes portrayed."

Kid Rock and his black views! Yawn! I didn't vote for Obama either. He cranked my taxes up in his Senate days! Need I say AGAIN that Kid Rock fathered his cute son Kiddie Rock with a BLACK woman? Isn't he supposed to be partners with "White People know me now" L'Il Weezy? Black Prez or not, they better fix that country so my kids can come back! My 21 year old son just bought me lunch at the office and he's heading to work and just loves Canada but he wants to take a vacation to ATL and B-More. Doesn't that sound weird? Vacation to your own country or hometown???

MY FORMER NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR IN 1982: BOY GEORGE'S 'VICTIM' SOLD STORY TO FLEE U.K.

http://guestofaguest.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/boy-george-photo-xl-boy-george-6227175.jpg
The male escort at the middle of singer BOY GEORGE's false imprisonment trial cashed in on his alleged ordeal by selling his story to a magazine in his native Norway, a London court has heard. The former Culture Club frontman, real name George O'Dowd, is charged with unlawfully detaining and assaulting model Audun Carlsen in his East London apartment in April 2007 following a row over naked photographs he had taken of the man.

O'Dowd is alleged to have lured Carlsen to the bedroom of his home last year (07), where he reportedly handcuffed the 29-year-old to a hook on his bedroom wall and assaulted him with a metal chain after accusing him of tampering with his laptop computer. Carlsen managed to escape and immediately reported the incident to police. The jury at Snaresbrook Crown Court was told on Tuesday (25Nov08) how Carlsen later sold his story to a Norwegian publication, pocketing $8,250 (£5,500) from the deal.

The model claimed he needed the cash to flee the U.K., because he was "too scared to stay in the country". However, the court heard how Carlsen had failed to mention details of his magazine deal to cops when they interviewed him days after the alleged attack. He denied allegations he had not been "straightforward" with the authorities, adding,
"I told the police everything that I had received (money) when the story came out. "The reason I gave this interview was because of all the things that were written, for the sake of my family."
O'Dowd has denied the charges against him.The trial continues.

He sold the story rights and a trial is going on? Well, let's see the outcome. I hear Boy George was obsessed with spanking the male escort. Culture Club was a band who lived next door to me and my boyfriend apartment in 1982. They were so cool! Times have changed!! I grew up with these guys. Can't find those photos anymore but George O'Dowd will remember me.
