A local elderly couple dropped off their beloved 13-year-old dachshund "Otto" at the doorstep of a shelter and attached a heartbreaking handwritten note, saying they could no longer afford to care for him.
Shelter workers were moved by the note and contacted Leave No Paws Behind, Inc., which stepped in to help. Otto will soon be reunited with his owners.
