KITTEN TRAGEDY: More than a million feral kittens will be euthanized this year as shelters struggle to keep up with an ever-expanding feral population, according to animal rights activists.
"The problem of community cats dying in shelters is one of the last major problems we in the animal welfare movement are tackling," one advocate said.
