COMING TODAY: C-MURDER TO SPEAK EXCLUSIVELY TO HIS CANADIAN FANS THRU KEMI AT HIPHOSSIP ON CANADA DAY!

LATEST UPDATE: From my June 13th story, I am going to interview C-Murder TODAY on Canada Day when his new album drops!! You've heard all the truth, rumors and lies. Call him what you want, Romeo's uncle, Master P and Silkk the Shocker's bro and R&B singer Monica 's former fiance. His artist name is back to C-MURDER. .......AND there is this new album THAT CAME OUT TODAY CANADA DAY JULY 1ST 2008 Screamin' 4 Vengeance ! Corey is a changed man who deserves another chance in life and has written a fantastic book as well

Corey C-Murder Miller grew up in New Orleans Third Ward in the notorious Calliope Housing Projects and went on to turn his pain into music. C-Murder made his rap debut in 1995 as part of the group TRU, along with his brothers Percy and Vyshonne, a.k.a. Master P and Silkk the Shocker. The Miller brothers went on to form the Hip-Hop empire known as No Limit Records. Together they became the most powerful force to put southern hip hop on the map during the mid 1990s. The album TRU 2 Da Game was certified platinum in 1997.

C-Murder has been featured on numerous No Limit albums and movie soundtracks and has released six solo albums to date, including Life or Death, certified platinum in 1999 and Bossalini certified gold the same year. In 2001, C-Murder went on to form TRU Records, continuing the entrepreneurial family tradition. He also appeared in the classic straight-to-video movie I'm Bout It and the hood comedy I Got The Hook Up. In 2006, C-Murder released his first book, Death Around The Corner (VIBE Street Lit/Kesington Publishing Co.) from prison where he wrote everything out by hand in notebooks and then mailed them out to be typed up, all of which took two years. However, when Hurricane Katrina hit, many of his chapters were lost when all the mail got shut down, but as luck would have it, he got everything back.

His first studio album in five years, "Screamin 4 Vengeance" is a very personal recording. This record is an open book on my trials and tribulations, current events, things I've been going through, letting the world get it raw. He pauses to warn, Everything ain't gutter about the album though, because at the end of the day, it's got a message. It ain't about go bang this and that, it's just a raw album about life and what's going on out here. At the end of the day, the end of the beat, you get the message that the streets ain't what's really popping. C-Murder also adds, My lyrical content and subject matter is on another level.

You can hear my confidence now, I can flow on any track now. Earlier in my career, it was easy to do two or three songs a day because I was saying the same things. But this time around, its more universal, everything ain't gonna be the same. I had time to really work on this album and perfect it. Spoken like a true boss.

All I can say is "YOU GO! Mr Miller!" Congrats on the new positive ventures! Looking forward to interviewing you on Tuesday July 1st 2008!
