Spokesman Chris Goodman says an ambulance took the 24-year-old Winehouse from her north London home to the emergency room of University College Hospital late Monday night. He says he does not yet know why Winehouse has been taken there.The singer won five Grammy Awards, including best record, best song and best new artist, in early February, but her musical success has been overshadowed by her tumultuous private life and public struggles with drugs and alcohol. Her father has also recently said that Winehouse developed early stage emphysema from smoking cigarettes and crack cocaine.
