SOUL II SOUL star JAZZIE B is hosting a silent rave in London this weekend (06Jul08). The 45-year-old, who in recent years has produced tracks for Destiny's Child, will broadcast a set on BBC Radio London, and invite partygoers to tune in using headsets and dance in Trafalgar Square. Jazzie B - real name Trevor Romeo - tells CMU Music, "This should be such a cool event - people shimmying away while passers-by look on, agog. Maybe some of the onlookers will get involved - sharing headphones to enjoy the vibe is what I'd like this event to be all about."
