SINGER SMOKEY ROBINSON BLASTS TABLOID PUBLISHING GARY COLEMAN PHOTOS.

Soul legend SMOKEY ROBINSON has voiced his fury after controversial photo s of GARY COLEMAN on his deathbed were made public. The Tears of a Clown hitmaker was in New York on Tuesday (10Jun10) to attend a Friars Foundation event in his honour when he waded into the debate over the scandal.

Editors at U.S. tabloid The Globe sparked a storm this week when they published pictures of the tragic Diff'rent Strokes star in a coma in hospital shortly before his death. Robinson says, "There are certain elements of the media that have gone wild, that have gone crazy. I think it's an injustice in a certain way be cause there's a point in a person's life that things are private and they should remain that way." Coleman died of a brain haemorrhage on 28 May (10) after slipping into a coma following a fall at his home in Utah.
