BREAKING NEWS: BRICK SQUAD RAPPER SLIM DUNKIN SHOT DEAD AS HE'S ABOUT TO START VIDEO SHOOT!

BREAKING NEWS: 7pm EDT, Toronto, Cdn: I have just received a VERY HORRIBLE phone call from Atlanta, Georgia!! Rapper Slim Dunkin (Mario Hamilton) has been SHOT TO DEATH! GUNS again! He was reportedly shot at a recording studio right before a video shoot at 1074 Memorial Drive and DIED moments ago at Grady Hospital. When does all this gun violence end in the rap music biz? WHEN? APD Homicide investigators are on the scene. Slim is Waka Flocka's affiliate at Brick Squad Monopoly and I am due to interview Waka again on his upcoming PETA award nomination and new album, now this tragedy.

Slim Dunkin appeared on a number of songs with Waka like “F--k the Club Up,” “Bang” and “Karma” all from Flocka’s 2010 debut Flockavelli. He was also featured heavily on Waka’s mixtapes like Twin Towers, Twin Towers 2 (No Fly Zone) and LeBron Flocka Flame 3. Dunkin was on his solo grind as well. This past Halloween the street bred MC released Menace II Society, a 20-track mixtape which featured Gucci Mane, Roscoe Dash and Pastor Troy.

11.30pm UPDATE: The Atlanta Police have now spoken about this murder. “Now it’s my understanding prior to the video shoot, Mr. Hamilton became involved in a verbal altercation with another individual who we believe produced a handgun, discharged that weapon at least one time, striking Mr. Hamilton in the chest,” Atlanta police Maj. Keith Meadows told Channel 2, WSB-TV, Atlanta's ABC affiliate. They have not identified the individual and say there was at least 13-20 people in the building at 5.30pm when the shooting happened. This was certainly not the kind of shooting planned for tonight. It was a video shoot not with a GUN!

His last tweet was so emotional. It was yesterday Dec 15th 2011 and simply said #SQUAD, the hash tag for his Brick Squad 1017 label affiliation. Stop this VIOLENCE!
