Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” has been nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammys.
A man from one of the most lawless sections of Canada is in hot water. A British Columbia man is facing harassment charges in a computer-hacking case linked to Mission, B.C., pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen. Vancouver police issued a release Tuesday that Abbotsford resident Christopher David Long, 25, has been charged with fraudulently obtaining telecommunications services, unauthorized use of a computer, mischief of data, identity fraud and possession of stolen property.
Police said the charges related to an investigation launched last March after they received a report of harassment of a "local, well-known celebrity."
They would not identify the celebrity but several media outlets say the alleged target was the Call Me Maybe singer, who hails from Mission, a few minutes northwest of Abbotsford.
