OFFICIAL final word from INEC but it is quite obvious. Despite 20 parties/candidates, this Governorship contest was between Rauf Aregbesola, the incumbent governor and candidate of the All Progressives Candidate (APC) and Iyiola Omisore, a former Senator and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

Both ran a good race and we all learned something from this race. First DO NOT ignore the other 18 candidates who really put in their quote here and are fast rising for the 2018 elections. Even Omisore may run again. Aregbesola had a lot of celebrities and former Governors campaign for him including my father Victor Omololu Olunloyo an elderly chieftain of that party and also rapper/singer Weird MC. My choice was Omisore all along and I still stand by him.

For those who ripped President Jonathan on the heavy security, I commend the President. violence has marred so many elections in Nigeria. We need the security. With a great high tech INEC and security, we can conduct elections. We still have challenges ahead in places like Borno state. Boko Haram may attack polling places and disrupt Presidential election numbers.
