LETS FACE IT, I AM A BIT BITTER at this event in a way. Sadly that last album she had was a million dollar bill worth but it was completely snubbed at the 2010 Grammys. Is the academy now regretting this? AND it's not even Grammy season. I kind of hate when singers die and they now receive every honor they were passed by at the time of their death. Well read below. We Will Always Love You': A grammy salute to Whitney Houston was held on Thursday evening in Los Angeles at Nokia Theatre. There were many stars in attendance.

Britney spears stunned as she took to the stage during a tribute ceremony in honor of the late Whitney Houston. Jennifer Hudson pays tribute to Houston by wearing identical Eighties outfit and hairstyle to the late singer at special Grammy Salute. Jennifer Hudson channeled one of the late singer's outfits from the eighties.

Mummy's girl: Bobbi Kristina Brown appareled to be in good spirits as she watched stars pay tribute to her mother as she sat hand in hand with her fiancé Nick Gordon.

Singing for his idol: Usher gave a calming performance during the show.

Other stars who turned out to celebrate Houston's life included Halle Berry, LL Cool J and actress Taraji P. Henson both had kind words.

Whitney died in February at the age of 48 due to an accidental drowning complicated by heart disease and cocaine use.

She was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, ahead of the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.
