Coca-Cola has cancelled a Canadian promotion that paired randomly generated English and French words inside bottle caps after an Edmonton woman got one that said “You Retard.”
Blake Loates, from Alberta, Canada, was shocked to read the insulting profanity as she drank from the low-calorie fruit drink. She has two half sisters born premature who suffer varying disabilities
Her father wrote to Coca-Cola underlining how offensive it was to the family
Coca-Cola apologised, blamed a contest which prints French and English words on the bottom of some lids of the drink

I have one child who grew up with Autism and another who interviewed Dr Timothy Shriver Chairman of the Special Olympics on the anniversary of the R-Word Day. This shocked us but we accept Coca Cola's apology with the French word which ,means "Late or Delay"
I had a similar situation that I argued on behalf of a Nigerian arrested in the US and charged with terrorism simply because they found notes in his car that listed pain and grenades. If you look at that list, it simply tells me as a law enforcement official that someone has a grocery list containing bread and promegranate.
