AMY'S LAST CONCERT: BESTIVAL WILL BE WINEHOUSE'S LAST GIG 'FOR FORSEEABLE FUTURE.'

Troubled British star AMY WINEHOUSE is set to take a break from touring in order to focus on her next album, according to her father MITCH. The Back To Black hitmaker was hospitalised in a London clinic last month (Jun08) after collapsing at her home. She was released from the clinic the following weekend to perform at a London tribute concert to Nelson Mandela on Friday (27Jun08) and at U.K. music festival Glastonbury on Saturday night (28Jun08). But after playing the Isle of Wight's forthcoming Bestival event in September (08), the singer will avoid any further live shows - instead concentrating on making a full recovery.

Her father Mitch says, "From the 6th September we are not going to be doing any more work for the forseeable future. Amy will be concentrating on writing for the new album. "She has five gigs that she is contractually obliged to do but Amy feels, and I feel, and the record company feel that is enough live performing for the time being. "We want her to relax."
