MADONNA has been targeted by car vandals in New York - but not because of her fame, police have confirmed. The Holiday hitmaker's SUV (sport utility vehicle) was attacked in New York's Central Park on Monday (14Jul08). According to local police reports, Madonna was not in the vehicle at the time of the incident and was not directly targeted. The pop star's chauffeur was driving the vehicle when two youths hurled a large rock at the car, damaging a back window, reports the New York Daily News. Madonna is currently in the Big Apple preparing for her upcoming Sticky & Sweet world tour, which kicks off on 23 August (08).The material things sometimes get destroyed Mrs. Material girl!
