Update on the delta state local government elections results as we hear it from government officials
A total number of twenty two local government election results has been released this evening at the Delta Dtate Independent Electoral Commission (DISEC), Asaba where the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clinched the chairmanship positions of twenty two out of twenty-five Local Government Areas except three Local Government Areas which had some challenges.
Addressing journalists today in Asaba.The twenty two returning officers of the commission presented their results before the house.
The twenty two LGA includes Patani LGA and Ethiope West LGA who both returned unopposed.
Others are Warri South LGA, Ughelli North LGA, Oshimili South LGA, Ukwani LGA, Warri South-West LGA, Oshimili North LGA, Aniocha South LGA, Ndokwa West LGA, Udu LGA, Okpe LGA, Bomadi LGA, Burutu LGA, Aniocha North LGA, Ika North LGA, Sapele LGA, Uwvie LGA, Ughelli South LGA, Warri North LGA and Isoko North LGA.
Ethiope East LGA election is inconclusive.
No elections in Ndokwa East Local Government Area.
Isoko South Local Government Area results is still being collated.
