Video of the Day: POINT BLANK-Born and Raised in the Ghetto.

Toronto's hip hop group Point Blank is absolutely talented, no doubt! They are a big group and remind me of the last we had like that WuTanClan. The issue of hip-hop artists and police brutality in this city has been a problem for years. Regent Park is now building expensive condos and the developers don't want to hear about crime. You can't cover up their childhood and how they saw things growing up. These young men were born and raised here. Just like Harlem, East Baltimore, Compton and the Swats, the ghetto will always be the same. Here in Toronto, the police are extraordinarily out for these black hip-hop artists in Regents Park we hear.

Representing as one of Canada's most recognized groups in hip-hop, Point Blank continue to make long strides in the industry. Comprised of 6 emcees and one in house producer - Imperial, Trouble, Stump, Kidd, RPD, Jackal and Pikihed - share a common goal and vision to be the voice of youth growing up in the inner city. All members were raised in Toronto, Ontario's infamous Regent Park - North America's Oldest Social Housing Project.

What I have coming for you is my interview with Point Blank when their album drops in May 2008. This video shows what the group goes thru on a daily basis. "We're more of a threat as a rap group than a gang" says one member.

Take a look at this (Discretionary language)
